His contract is for $4.5 and if Denver releases him....they save all of it against the cap.. Could also be a draft day trade

They need the money for a new QB...and they have younger, cheaper RBs

 

Andersons just turned 27 this month and can still play....for somebody...if they want to pay the $4.5

He will go to Miami most likely after they let go of Jay Ajayi.

 

Adam Gase wanted him before Denver gave him a new contract. Yeah, Kenyan Drake is there but nowadays, RBC is the way to go and I think they will have an RBC with him and Drake.

 

Of course, then the Packers and Seahawks are linked to every RB free agent as well, so there is that.

Good point about the Packers..

Management has changed a little and they might like trades and free agents a little more.

John Elway says at the combine that WRs Demariyus Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders will be back with the Broncos this fall.

He did NOT say the same thing about Aquib Talib and CJ Anderson...

 

Broncos are about $26 mil under the cap if they keep Talib and Anderson....$40 mil under if they do not

Honestly, I rather draft someone and have them play here for cheap and for multiple years.
