Ownership of your college team vs the Colts?

I'm probably one of the oldest guys on this board and have watched my college alma mater Nebraska and the Colts through many highs and lows over the years. I wonder if many of you share my thoughts.

 

I feel some ownership in my college team even though they surely don't ask for my opinions on how they operate any of their programs. But the Colts are solely the toy of the Irsays and while Jimmy is at least somewhat likeable, his obnoxious dad really tested my loyalty. Tossing aside Johnny Unitas at the end of his career was a tough one to swallow, horrible teams year after year, and of course, the night of the Mayflower Trucks was about the last straw for many fans -- and former Colts great players, not just Unitas. But they somehow have still been "my Colts" all these years as dumb as that seems at times. Like now.
