Missed X-Tra Points

Eight missed extra points all of last year. More today than all of last year. Moving down from a 99% last year to 90% this year seems to have had a substantial impact. I remember when this rule was proposed, I was in heavy favor of it. This is not automatic anymore. Thus, making for a more interesting game. Do we still have doubters?

it makes the game harder and at the same time 'more exciting'. This rule isn't going anywhere, as this has been a good chance in a way to change the outcome of games to 'more exciting'. 

 

I think down the road, teams will start to develop like Pittsburgh does with their 2 point conversions.

I don't like it. It's watered down and annoying. A missed PAT used to be an epic turn of events, but now it's just another play. There's nothing exciting about losing a game because of a doink (besides the occasional long FG).

I love it!  It should have been done years ago!  It actually is going to make coaches think about going for two more often.

It has it's pros and cons with me! Like it but then it does make the game more exciting. Kickers however have to work twice as hard.

Well it should start getting more interesting as the weather will have more of a impact on kicks.

I like the idea of being able to return a blocked extra point try and get points.

Agreed, it will motivate players to actually block the kick instead of... you know... just giving up on the play and putting their hands on their hips.
