What HoF receiver did Elway or Favre have?

 

Elway had Shannon for quite a while. Sterling could easily been a HoF receiver under Favre had he not had neck issues and had his career cut short.

Favre is an dope, liar and cheat and I wouldn't lend credence in anything coming out of his mouth. 

One of the greatest QB's to ever play this game. Judge not....etc etc.

Manning says he plans to play a couple of more years despite Favre record to be broken very soon! Brett does sound classy there.

Elway was great....and you can argue that he was a better all-around QB than Marino.

But 'pure passer'? No..

Marion terrorized safeties because he could clear your head no matter how safe yu played it..

And he could strike in front of you before you could close.

Peyton could so that but Peyton played indoors and in an era when you couldnt (unless you played for NE!) clothesline the receivers

What Marino did to that Bears 85 defense on that Monday night was still unbelievable. No team came close to beating them and he hangs 38 on them. As I look back now, I kind of wish the Fins did play the Bears in that SB even though I was psyched at the time to have the Pats make their first Super Bowl. As a football fan, it would have been a much better game and I think one that Miami may have won. Imagine what Marion's legacy would have been if he had beaten that defense for the ring?
