What a Well Placed Bye Week

Obviously they didn't know the Colts would have so many injuries this week, but man this was so well placed.

 

Reggie Wayne has a sprained knee. That usually takes a couple of weeks to heal. He'll be questionable for the Texans game. Many players have played through sprains. I played through sprains. I have a feeling Reggie will too.

 

It'll also give the Colts a chance to rest guys like Satele, Gordy and Howell. Satele is a starter, so it would be nice to see him recover. Gordy and Howell provide nice depth so hopefully they can come back.

 

Like I said, this bye week couldn't have come at a better time, and we can celebrate the high of beating Manning and the Broncos for another week.

I love having the bye in the middle of the season.  The worst is those week 4 byes.  But yeah, it's great.  It gives a lot of guys a chance to heal, and our secondary seemed to have a lot of injuries

I dont remember a time off the top of my head that I am so glad that the Colts are not playing next weekend, dang injuries!
