Outlook at the NT position

Does anyone know the latest on Josh Chapman? Has he been taking 1st team reps? Or are we going into the season with Aubrayo Franklin as the starter? Haven't heard any recent buzz about Chap so I was curious.

According to reports in the the official TC thread he has been split reps but not much more and Teveseau missed part of practice today.

I'm guessing Franklin starts, simply because he's experienced.  Chap will probably split series with him.  I think McKinney gets cut.

It's not really much NTs can do in 11 on 11 since they wasn't in pads so it was mostly nickel and sub packages which doesn't have NT. But tomorrow is when it's the NTs time to shine because the pads come on and it's going to be a lot of run plays ran tomorrow.

That's true.  From what I read, they weren't even on the field most of the time.

im hoping mckinney gets a comeback i like him if he can shake the bug on his knee and get some reps he could be a reliable back up at NT i know a lot of you might disagree but i hope he makes the 53
