Note that Jerry Hughes is on there in the list of undervalued players for the Colts.

 

Concerning aspects are Mathis, Bethea, Vinatieri, Redding, Satele and Brown are in the overvalued list.

Yeah, they must be on that analytics nonsense as well.

 

Apparently I cannot say "Hughes sucked" so I'll just say "he was the greatest player in the history of the franchise" who had more opportunities to prove himself than Tim Tebow. And he didn't do it. I am very glad he is now gone. And I'd have walked him out the door for a ham sandwich.

 

Regardless, this trade is what it is....two teams flipping players who do not fit their scheme.

It's all based on cap hits from 2012, compared with PFF's ratings of players from 2012. Hughes had a decent grade as a rotational player, according to their ratings, and he had a relatively small cap hit. Makes sense.
