How The Cowboys Haven't Signed...

...Dwight Freeney, John Abraham and then (eventually) Brian Urlacher is beyond me.

I preface this with the statement that Jerry Jones is an airhead.

But if he is wanting to win now...(which has been his mantra for what seems like forever)...then bringing them in to play the Tampa 2 is a no brainer (I don't care what negadit chimes in about age & injury).

They have kept their 3/4 personnel but want to run a very specific style of 4/3. smh

Maybe he has gotten some college and figured out you cannot continue to put off salary cap he||.

Now that owners meeting is over, Jerry Jones will immediately get to extending Tony Romo.  Romo's pay will go up, but his cap hit will go down.  I think Romo's cap hit is 18+ million.  So when he Gets his new deal, Dallas will have room to make a move and sign drafted players.  Cowboys current cap space is just under 150,000 right now.

    • Yeah it’s the going three and out that’s the issue.  That has nothing to do with the defense.  That’s all on the offense.  If the offense could sustain a drive you’d also rest the defense so they aren’t spent by the 4th quarter as they clearly were in the Texans game too.

    • A primary reason Why he needed to be more active in free agency. He has done well throughout his drafts to add contributing NFL roster caliber players, however, there is a mounting lack of true difference makers  on the defensive roster. His stubbornness with overvaluing his own draft picks is getting very old- especially on defense -to your point. I also realize some of these players are being held back by Bradley's simple and tired defense.
