Botched snap, his knee buckled. He just laid there, ball 2 ft from him, didnt even attempt to reach for it, he is in serious pain.

He'd be hobbled all game. It looks like it finally gave out.

I was very surprised he made it through the season, to be honest...

I agree, and they need to get him out of all that stupid Michael Vick running around. It's going to make it worse. He's a good kid, but he is a ball hog with that "Oh I am going to run first, instead of throw!". I know it's sexy and people drool over it (Look at him! Look at him throw!) but it's not the safest thing in the world if you want to last a while in this league.

He likely won't, Dr. James Andrews cleared him after he passed functional tests, but still had concerns.

I see the field condition's at Fed-Ex are being scrutinzed.  Not only did Adrian Peterson suffer his tragic knee injury there, Seattle DE Chris Clemons likely suffered an ACL during the Redskins / Seahawks playoff game.  So Matt Ryan has 1 less worry on his mind.

He looked like a fatally wounded horse trying to win his last race. They should have had the theme from "Old Yellar" playing in the background. That was pathetic. If you ever saw the movie "Cool Hand Luke" RG looked like Luke when George Kennedy beat him up for half a day. Remember Cutler last year sitting the bench after an injury. To see that for a rookie franchise player, number two in the draft is a first and I have watched the game for 50 years. Belechek would have yanked him ASAP to fight another day. Last comment, even if Curtis Painter was the back up he should have come out, as it is the back up they have can win games!!
