No matter what the fashionable pick is at # 6 if Chubb, Barkley is not available we need to pick Nelson for Lucks protection unless we trade down. that way we need to solidify the offenses line and pick a back to enhance  Mack for Luck for the first & 2nd pick  That is the  logical way to go and also get a big wide receiver in later rounds. You keep the defense off the field to help out . We need to have a ball controlled offense to help out until we can build a solid defense  over time. If we can't get a defensive pass rusher in the first round , Our obligation should be to a ball controlled offense that can help keep the defense off the field. With all the holes we have we can't change everything in one draft. But for now our number one priory should be keeping our franchise  QB safe and  use ball control . IT helped us win a championship in 2006  We can still build our defense as we go in FA and the draft but the offense should be Priority  one.
