The only way a bidding war happens is if the Broncos do not ink Kirk Cousins.

On that aspect, if the Redskins franchise tag Cousins a 3rd consecutive year, and Barkley is the #1 pick, the bidding war will happen, IMO. Otherwise, the Broncos and Jets probably will likely get their pick of one of the marquee draft QBs they want, IMO.

Rooting for Kirk Cousins to stay put will have a ripple effect more than anything else.

Alex Smith, most likely will be part of the Bills, and the cost prohibitive nature of moving up from 21 is more likely for the Bills to engage in free agency more than the draft for the QB. Broncos at least have the No.5 pick in the bag to not go chasing FA QBs if the price is not right.

Bills, Cardinals, Redskins, Jets, Broncos could all want to move up imo

I don't think Kirk returns to the Skins

Could, maybe. Realistically, the ones with draft capital to move up are the Jets and Broncos, unless one of the other teams wants to pull a Mike Ditka, IMO. Other GMs aren't going to be wearing blue-colored glasses. :)

I could see Arizona giving up something extra to move up

I can see that too but it would have to come close to an RG3 type of deal for us to justify getting future picks. Plus the drop off in talent is huge for play makers that we covet.

I'd probably bet we do not trade down beyond the Jets' spot in the first round.
