Mike Gilhammer played safety in college and was his college team's most valuable DB. He coached 21 years in College and 11 years in the NFL. His secondaries in college ranked as some of the top in D1 football. He help Oregon to a number 2 ranking. In 7 years with the Panthers his secondaries ranked in the top ten though he lost players to FA and retirement. He tutored rookies into starting rolls and coached one CB to a successful switch to S. He finds a way for the secondary to function on a high level. Hopefully he will have the same success with the Colts in 2012.

Roy Anderson played QB at Howard U. He coached college QBs. He did internships under Nick Saban at LSU where he tutored WRs who are now playing in the NFL, and under Bobby Bowden at Florida ST.He came to Baltimore with John Harbaugh and worked in player personel. He also assisted the DL coach at Baltimore. He was promoted to a position as a safety coach when Pagano took over as DC. He assisted Pagano in developing schemes for the defensive playbook. When Pagano left Harbaugh tried promoting Roy to keep him in Baltimore but he decided to help Pagano build the Colts defense as a safety coach and specialist in defensive schemes. He seems to be on a similar track as Tony Dungy but with a different style of defense.

Hopefully these two men can mold the Colts secondary into a top ten position.
