That wasn't a very smart thing to say. Brees and MANY guys in the NFL today make more in one game (at least one season) than most all of those dudes made in their whole career. They wouldn't be doing that if the fellas before then had not opened the doors.

There is some truth to what Brees said. But, it wasn't the most diplomatic thing say. Some messed up their finances. But, others didn't make that much money and deserve some help since they helped get the NFL where it is today.

Brees didn't say anything that's incorrect. So now the PC crowd is upset? C'mon.

Many former NFL players screwed up their financial situations. It's not up to the current NFL to help them out.
