According to Peter King we are trying to trade Freeney again.

I'd trade him for a 5th and if they somehow got more out of him, well that would be great. We need to unload that contract, period.

Agreed, he won't change our 12' season. May as well get something for him this year as opposed to next years comp pick. Also, this is the second rumor so you kind of put yourself in a situation where you're telling him you don't want him. Cut your losses and move him for whatever you can get. Ideally you'd want a good pick, but we have no leverage here. Pay him big money, release him or take whatever you can get.
