So my friend asked me this question and to be honest i feel i should know the answer for it but unfortunately i don't so ill ask it on here. Lets say a Wr catches the football and runs about 80s yards down the field yet fumbles the ball and it's recovered by the other team does that Wr still get the 80 yards or is it negated due to the fumble?

Yes, they get the yards.

 

 

In fantasy football you would get 6pts

 

8 for 80yds , -2 for fumble(well depending on league scoring and if PR or not)
