UDFA Collins to sign with the Cowboys

We are dumb for not going after him.

We tried, but it's hard seeing the NFL rules didn't allow visits to him.

"The Colts are trying to set up a meeting with Collins, and the Falcons are also in the running to sign him, tweets Michael Cauble of WBRZ in Baton Rouge. In total, Collins has five teams on his radar, and is weighing each situation, considering playing time and other factors, according to Cauble"

Jerry Jones had La'el out to his house.  Must have wooed him quite well.  Collins never went to Miami, let alone Indy.

Ah, I see. On my phone it doesn't show tweets using Tapatalk. Do we know if Collins ever did actually meet with the Colts or did he go ahead and sign with the Cowboys before visiting?

I don't think he met with the Colts or the Falcons.

I think Jerry Jones put on a great full court press and never got a chance.

Props to Jones,  unfortunate for the Colts.

Still don't understand why some team didn't take him late in the draft and then call his bluff. IF he is really one of the top 15 in terms of talent, certainly a 7th round pick was worth the gamble. All the NFL GM's except Dallas' look pretty stupid today.
