Dwight lowery agrees to terms with us

If we don't draft a safety in the first round, do you really think anyone we do draft will beat out Lowery? 

 

Stranger things have happened, but I can't see it.

If we draft a safety it wouldnt be to beat out Lowery this year, but to groom for the future...

Adams is either a season away from retirement or simply breaking down and Lowery isnt exactly young either. We need to think about bringing in young guys to replace them.... Ideally we shouldve addressed this even sooner. I think unless he is just a bust, McDonald and Lowery or someone not yet on our roster will be the starters in the 2016 season... You always gotta think ahead in the NFL... otherwise you get into a position where the Steelers are... you hang onto players well past their prime because you have no one to replace them yet.... which also leads to cap trouble.
