No I didn't know when it was happening. :\ 1 hour ago, NFLfan said: I believe they will both be drafted. You? Most probably, yes... both probably on day 3, but not sure when... 1 hour ago, NFLfan said: Btw, what are your thoughts on Nolan Smith? He's getting rave reviews on his leadership/attitude/character. He's a bit small but freaky athletic. He plays physical despite being on the smaller side and I personally haven't seen his size affect him - good both in pass-rush and in run defense. He will likely be either 3-4 OLB or wide 9 type of DE in 43(kind of like what the Colts did with Ngakoue and what they will be doing with Ebukam now). Not very familiar with what scheme you guys run and if he will fit in it, but I doubt he gets out of the 1st round. Not sure he even gets to the Vikings at 23. IMO he's probably a top 10 player in the draft... but the size might limit who would want to draft him this high so it's possible he slips to the teens... or even early 20s... Lol. We have a new DC, Brian Flores. He said he will tailor the scheme to fit the players. However, I heard he prefers to employ a 3-4 scheme. We probably do not have a chance at Smith because we will likely trade back. We have only 5 picks. Thanks for sharing your impressions.
