Full disclosure..... I am a ND fan.  

 

That said, I'd love taking a flyer on Drue in the 7th or as an UDFA.  He's had two knee injuries in one knee, ( otherwise he'd be a 3rd or 4th rounder I think....)  He's also 24 already.....  Buuuut...... ha has every intangible CB or Reoch could ever want.... multiple years as captain at ND, has played Safety, LB, and eventually a hybrid rover role....  is 6-2, 235 and would be a solid ST player right away.  Would be a potentil guy to handle our chronic TE/RB coverage issues in nickel and dime packages ( think a better coverage guy in Geather's role, with less run stopping instinct )  and can even bring the blitz fairly effectively when called on..... 

 

I see him as a Solid ST leader and his ceiling is probably a really good backup LB/S...... great value late or undrafted.   JMO

One of the earlier mocks had us taking him in the later rounds. Really solid kid from Fort Wayne who would probably love to play in Indianapolis.
