Hats off to the AFC East Patriots

Any given Sunday.  To say the Pats are AFC Champions right now is premature.  They may be in that position when the time comes, but it's too early to say.  Plus, this is the NFL; you never know what could happen.  The Raiders beat the 49ers, and Carolina's defense held the Saints offense to just 10 points in the Superdome.

It is premature to anoint the Pats.  How premature are any threads that suggest the Indianapolils Colt?

Nothing is decided yet. It's a complete mistake to assume anything with these next three games. All three teams are capable of beating the Patriots. The Jets played them to the final whistle in Foxboro, the Dolphins already beat them once, and the Bills could come to Gillette, and... OK, so two of the three teams they have left could play spoiler! (Just kidding Buffalo!) 

 

Miami is at least hanging in there with the Pats, but when the game is over, the Pats will be victorious.

Didn't it say AFC champions...... 2 games and 2 playoff games to go. No guarantee there.
