I know SW, it's something that one takes into account before investing in an architecture. I love the idea of an Apple, but never wanted to deal with the downside. It seems to me that many Apple users take great pride in being outside the "mainstream" - or at least that's how it used to be. There is unfortunately a price that comes along with that.

"It seems to me that many Apple users take great pride in being outside the "mainstream"- or at least that's how it used to be." Yeah, it was that way for many. That's true MAC. For me, I chose an iMAC because the graphics are incredible, the anti virus protections are amazing, & the machines are just vastly superior to PCs in every way IMO.

Not implying anything negative, it's a nice looking page. I'll amend my "online friends" comment to "really cool". It's very nice to see who's here at a glance.
I didn't comment on the "latest post" or "live topics" sections because I really don't know what to make of them. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me that it would only be useful if you are "current" on all the recent threads and want to wai...

lol! I remember many many many years ago (BDT - before duct tape) my dads friend was doing a little (a lot) of fixer up and his home. The spacing between the walls - no paneling was a headache so he used masking tape. He taped the joints and painted over it and it looked great and it lasted many years.

Snow blower would be super handy right now
