Found this after a quick search. the 2010 number was 9.52 million for the franchise tag. I would expect the 2012 number to be a little higher but similar.

Hmmm, maybe I've misread the situation. I thought he wanted out.

If he's willing to sign a reasonable contract, I'm all for bringing him back. I was just under the impression he wanted to be paid like 28 year old Reggie Wayne.

I was too. It's a good sign though that he said he's willing to come back, but he still may want that bigtime money. Hasn't been much talk about this in the media so no one really knows.
