Braylon Edwards

He's actually not as bad as everyone says he is, on-the-field, that is. He's actually cut down on the majority of his drops that plagued him in Cleveland while he was on the Jets - he has freakish size, makes very tough catches and great leaping ability ...oh and he's an awesome (and willing) run-blocker too.

One thing that however recently surfaced that DOES surprise me however, is the fact it was reported the reason the Jets wanted to part ways with him was because he was supposedly a diva - now that has to be troubling given that the Jets are a team full of characters, and yet even they can't stomach having to put up with Edwards antics in the locker room.

Talent-wise I'd love to see him in a Colts uniform - the drops were not a problem for him the past 2 years, but the fact Rex can't put up with him has to raise alarm bells, not to mention his asking price would probably be in the $8 million range.

Braylon Edwards or Randy Moss would be a solid pick up for the Colts even if they don't catch a ball all year, which wouldn't happen. Moss requires double coverage deep down field, always a threat. Edwards is also a deep threat which will open up the slot receivers which Manning uses often, this will help both Clark and Collie to get open, not to mention Wayne on the other side. Also with having that deep threat taking the safeties deep, and making the linebackers have to cover more ground will also help the run game, which is in desperate need of help. The Colts need a big deep threat if the price is right, and I think the Colts can lure Moss out of retirement, he just wants to go to a winning team, which he didn't have any offers from that's why he retired.
