That 3rd round pick was considered by many as a 1st round talent to a 3-4 defense.  because he was considered not as good for a 4-3 as well, dropped his worth in the draft.

 

And if these guys performed well enough to not only play as starters, but to do so well as to have the previous starters released,..that is saying something.

IMO, Colts DID do something..they got guys they WANTED, that would fit the scheme, rather than what everyone else thought they should do.

 

Parry is going to be a wall in the middle of the line. I just hope the LBs do their job and fill the holes and tackle the RBs that Parry lets them clearly see

I never panic with the 1st regular season game even if we play a lackluster game vs Buffalo because it usually takes about 2-3 games to gel as an offensive line & defensive line. Just protect Luck, make him scrabble less, & give Gore room to work. The 1st game is also usually sloppy with false start & defensive encroachment penalties too since this is the first full 4 QTR action for everybody as well.
