Really. Have you looked at the Texans roster? Man to Man, position to position, Im not sure I wouldn't take every single one of the Texans. Maybe not the #2 DE or the FS, but outside of that, who would you take on our roster right now, over what they have?

Player for player the talent disparity between the Colts and Texans is staggering.

And yet year in and year out the Texans seem to not play good football...so why is that?

Man for man they have much better players than us, they aren't aging at the skill positions and that defense is very , very good. Their running game and defense can carry them to wins where the Colts' running game and defense are not very good compared to the top teams.

I guess that is why they have been in the playoffs so many times now. Shoot, they might not even make it in this year again because the Titans are making a run now. But, your right. They have a superior team. <_<

I dont see what their past has to do with their current roster. And please explain to me how the current Colts roster is better than the Texans roster. It's not. I'm not going to be a homer and sit here saying the Colts are better than the Texans because they aren't. If's but's and might's dont work in the nfl.

but but but in 1989 Week 3 we beat the Falcons!

There past is just that, the past. The Texans roster at this point and time is far superior to anything we have. The fact they didnt win a playoff game in 2002 doesn't have ANY bearing as to what team they are now, which is arguably one of the best in the NFL.

If you truly believe that then why are you a Colts fan? That's saying you don't like any of the players, in turn you don't like Polian because these are his players. Is Caldwell what keeps you hanging on(sarcasm)? I mean if you dont believe in anything that has to do with the team then what's the point? Do you grudgingly claim them as your team because they are local? Remember Randy Quaid in Major League? Your not that guy are you?

      The Colts are not Extending Ryan Kelly for now

      To me, it’s also a non- story, but for a different reason.     Because Ryan Kelly, classy guy that he is, has chosen to make it a non-story.  No complaining.  No running to the media to try to generate sympathy.   No hold out OR hold in where you show up but tell the team you won’t practice without a new contract.   He could’ve done any of them.  He chose to do none of them.     I think Kelly is a classy guy.  easy to see why he’s voted a team captain, and I think the union rep.  I also think the Colts under Ballard are filled with classy guys who are easy to root for.  Honestly, it one of the biggest reasons I’ve stuck around since Luck retired.  It’s a fun team to cheer for.    So I like the team, the coaches,  the front office, the owner and the city.   Hope to make it to Indy one day to meet as many of you as I can.

      Yeah North.....maybe I got confused about the Pittsburgh Pirates playing in the central.  But I think before realignment there were only 3 divisions, I think.. Like the Colts and Dolphins played in the East, the Raiders and Broncos played in the West and the Steelers and Brownies played in the Central.  But yeah my mistake the Steelers currently in the North division.
