More Roster Moves, Evans Waived Again, Claimed De & A Signed Wr To Ps

The Indianapolis Colts today claimed defensive end Mario Addison off waivers from Chicago, have come to an agreement with wide receiver Jarred Fayson to sign to the practice squad and waived running back Darren Evans

Addison, 6-3, 252 pounds, was originally signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on July 26, 2011. He competed in three games with the Bears but did not record a tackle.

Fayson, 6-0, 215 pounds, was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent on July 27, 2011 and was waived by the team on September 3.

How is 6' 215 undersized? You do realize that most WR's are not over 6'2" with freakish athleticism, right?

Addison is slightly small for a DE, but not for an OLB rusher/run stopper. We just can't seem to figure out how to implement such talent. (See: Hughes)

I'm sure when we are looking for guys to fill roster and PS spots, we only select those who are small or undrafted. Obviously, there are tons of readily available, freakishly large and athletic guys just waiting to be plucked for vet minimum.
