The Cowboys seem to be on an upward trajectory!! But - I'm an American - and - it should be noted that the Cowboys are NOT MY TEAM!!

Did ANYONE on the Colts fan forum believe that - going in to our late bye week - we would be TIED WITH THE BUFFALO BILLS record?? That is a big fat "NO WAY JOSE"!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COLTS on bringing home a "W"!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COLTS on eliminating penalty calls!! CONGRATULATIONS TO GARDNER MINSHEW for protecting the ball this week - against a Bill Belichick defense!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COLTS on beating Bill Belichick and his team!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COLTS DEFENSE for being the impetus for the win for the second week in a row!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COLTS SPECIAL TEAMS for living up to their moniker!!

I realized this a while back - BUT - you also have to take in to consideration that Nick Sirianni inherited a MUCH better team - AND - has a GM that is a "wheeler-dealer". My personal opinion - when I realized this - was that Sirianni should have been allowed to call the offensive plays on game day. WOULD THAT have changed things in Indy? The world will never know.

"Major upgrade" time doesn't begin until free agency in March 2024 - and - the 2024 NFL Draft - until then the team plays with the players that they have. Don't forget - there were a plethora of issues with the cornerback position that NO ONE could have seen coming. Michael Pittman Jr is clearly our #1 wide receiver. We'll see if that remains the case when the season is over.

My thoughts & prayers go out to the family & friends - AND - players & former coaching staff of Coach Bob Knight!!

If the Colts can be better at the "self-inflicted injuries" - and - our defense plays as well as they did last Sunday - I think we can STOMP the Patriots offense. If Shane Steichen comes up with a creative game plan and we avoid penalties & turnovers - I think the Colts can POUNT THE PATRIOTS defense!!

I agree with the assessment that Gardner Minshew is a serviceable QB. I hate making comparisons of ONE SINGLE PLAYER from two completely different teams - coached by two completely different coaching staffs - with completely different seasons.

OVERREACTION!! QB Bryce Young has just completed his 10th week of NFL competition. The Carolina Panthers had far fewer "offensive pieces" available to Frank Reich than the Colts had in place for Anthony Richardson. Since the Panthers "gave away a kings ransom" to get the opportunity to draft Bryce Young - the opportunities to "build thru the draft" are slim and slimmer.

Mike Greenburg of ESPN's "Get Up" morning show shared his "Green List" of coaches he feels will lose their jobs in the near future. #5 - Ron Rivera & Matt Eberflus (who will both be fired at season's end for new owners or GMs to hired "their guy") #4 - Brandon Staley #3 - Arthur Smith (an offensive guru who isn't getting it done with outstanding offensive playmakers) #2 - Mike McCarthy (season's end) #1 - Bill Belichick AGREE OR DISAGREE?

If we're working out wide receivers - at least get someone with RECENT experience. Sammy Watkins hasn't been relevant in quite a while. I'd be happier bringing back someone who was with the team in training camp and/or the practice squad - at least they'd have a smidgen of recent work - and - knowledge of the current Colts system.

Brett Rypien played BADLY this past weekend. While Carson Wentz is nothing more than a backup QB - at this point - BUT - he might have the opportunity to play enough to showcase his improvement. I hope Matt Stafford is back sooner than later - as I have a couple of his outstanding WR corps on my fantasy team.

We are at the "halfway point" of the NFL regular season. I know that there is a difference in the fantasy football realm - dependent upon your individual league rules. That said - what is your fantasy team's record - AND - your position in your league? I'll kick this one off: Dream Team's record is 7 - 2 My position is #3 in the league

I'm not sure. ESPN carries the Monday Night Football game - but - it is also broadcast on ABC and ESPN2. I just added to my cable package to get the ESPN channels - among others.

Would love to see Bill Belichick move on - regardless of when that is. Interesting stat: Belichick's W-L record is BELOW .500 without Tom Brady. This season is the stinkiest season of the past few - and - I have heard a few of his former players call for him to resign - rather than be fired. The "trade rumor" just blew me away. I wouldn't think that a 72 year old head coach is ready for a team that would need a "complete rebuild". As both a fan - and - friend of Coach Don Shula - my fingers are crossed that Belichick "rides off in to the sunset".

Personally - I will ALWAYS hate the Patriots - as long as Bill Belichick is the head coach. I hate them because of the rivalry between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady - and - I hate them because I am also a Miami Dolphins fan. However - since both Peyton and Brady have retired - the "rivalry" aspect between the Colts & Patriots is far removed from what it once was. That being said: POUND THE PATRIOTS!!!

NFL Network has the "rights" to the game. However - since it is a Colts "away" game - a local TV station MUST carry the game for the home fans. In this case - it's Fox59!!
