  1. The Colts need to go all in on the offense and getting legit skill players for AR. I’d love to see the colts draft Bowers at TE. He can do it all. If you have to trade up you trade up. Bowers would make the run game and the pass game better. This is an offense driven league. You can’t have an elite defense and an elite offense. In todays league you go all out on making sure you have an elite offense because the game itself is geared towards that.
  2. The throw was on Minshew. Horrible pass of many that game. The throw still hit our guy in the hands. Both players failed even if the guy was offsides. I hate the refs, but in this situation I blame the players. The play was there to be had and those two guys fell on their faces, and the RB quite literally.
  3. feels like a long shot for AR to stay healthy. I don’t feel good about that.
  4. The monkey that colts don’t win big games keeps gripping harder on this team.
  5. The browns game hurt worse because they are an AFC team. And to add insult to injury, the refs were bad. So for everyone out there who don’t like to put blame on the refs for rigging games, tell me how that game didn’t hurt the colts winning the division this year? Or being in the playoffs? Because 1 game can cause you to miss the playoffs, or lose a playoff game ultimately losing your chance at a SB. Every call that is made weighs heavily on what happens with any said team in the league or in sports in general. Legalizing gambling has made this even worse. ultimately I think less rules is better for the game of football.
  6. even if you don’t have JT in there put Moss in.
  7. So I went back to this, and yea, it cheered me up. I think AR blows the Texans out last night.
  8. I’ve been patient with Ballard. I think for fans it comes down to the fear of getting someone worse than Ballard. But I think it’s time to be rid of him. If AR can stay healthy I think he’s the guy and he will save Ballards job, though. Having a QB that is good/great does a lot for your team. I think it’s pretty clear, teams without a top QB have similar to worse records than the Colts had this year. And for the love of God please let Bradley go.
  9. lol I know. As soon as the game ended I’ve said on here it would be the game that would bite us come playoff seeding. I was just making a joke about the apology.
  10. Why you mad the NFL apologized for that
  11. Minshew was off all game. These are the games where QB play trumps everything else which is why the Texans are in the playoffs and the Colts aren’t. Minshew had less passing yards than JT had rushing yards. Zero TDs. Minshew needed one more good drive and 7 points and this team is in the playoffs and he couldn’t deliver in 58 minutes of football. Hence why he’s a backup and not a starter. I really hope AR can stay healthy in 2024.
  12. Crazy. I’ve got this game and hopefully a playoff game and then I’m moving back to IN.
  13. I went to the RCA dome and couldn’t hear or feel myself screaming. But I could feel everyone else screaming! That place was rocking. Of course, it helps when you’ve got Peyton Manning.
  14. This was something a lot of fans were really glad happened after that year was all said and done. I’m not so sure the Colts beat SD that year.
  15. he has the potential to do a lot. But right now he’s not those things. Shows a flash here or there, but this defense shouldn’t struggle vs him and if they do it’s an indictment on Gus Bradley. I’ve been a Purdue fan for years. He CAN become a good starter. Doesn’t mean he will or has proven any of what you say at the NFL level. Just look at his last 3 qtrs of football.
  16. Kevin Bowen mentioned when the Colts had their oline fully healthy the team had its best 2 games of the season. Idk which games those were. imo, if Gus Bradley’s defense can’t stop O’Connell then he needs to be gone. I’ll lose my % as O’Connell is not good and a rookie.
  17. no end in sight I’m afraid. Need to get back to mostly Sunday games and Monday night football at most.
  18. One of the biggest assets to Leonard’s game were his ball hawking skills, which became nonexistent through the season. The dude was just always there to make a play on the ball pre-injury. maybe he needs longer to get back to himself, however nerve damage would stack the odds against you. the colts never publicly drug his name through the mud. If they did, it would have been reported. Even behind closed doors it would have gotten reported. I think they told him they don’t think he’s got it anymore, and to him, that would equate to dragging his precious name through the mud. He’s always been rather sensitive to anyone doubting his ability.
  19. Need a QB who can make something happen when his favorite WR isn’t playing. There were open guys, but Minshew loves Pittman. Minshew is a really good 1 read QB, not a very good at scanning for another guy, and since he has horrible pocket awareness he just couldn’t overcome that. Since there was no Pittman, he didn’t know where to go with the ball. Just my two cents. overall, I felt like the whole team just didn’t want to be in Atlanta and was more worried about getting it over with so they could have Christmas with their families.
  20. Colts didn’t want to be there and it was clear from the second series on. Pathetic showing. Coaching was even worse. Didn’t have his guys ready. After this and the bengals game Shane shouldn’t be considered for COY.
