  1. https://coltswire.usatoday.com/2023/06/05/colts-nfl-free-agency-breshad-perriman-signed-news/ Think this is a great point.
  2. Wonder how close he is to that 4.26 speed still? He does offer a great deep threat, as long as he catches the ball.
  3. That doesn't help when you have OTAs and mini camp and have no veteran leadership on the field at the position. Only other vet is McKenzie, more of a slot guy. Perriman can help on the outside. Can't do anything but help in the immediate future, as most WRs(healthy) on the roster are camp bodies, need a guy to show them how to work and knows what he is doing, so he can help the QBs reps too. QBs throwing reps to guys who might be running bad/incorrect routes doesn't help the QB very much.
  4. Still holding out hope that we will pounce on Norwell once he is released.
  5. It definitely does, as far as immediate need, not sure of long term. Not too worried about Pittman, unless this is some kind of Bo Jackson issue More concerned about Downs. Maybe catching passes in the hotel parking lot wasn't such a good idea?
  6. OTAs back in session today. Wonder what day this week the media will have access? Here's to a healthy week. Need to get these rookies(Rush, Mallory, Brents, Downs) back, they need all the time they can get. Edited in Downs.
  7. And league wide flopping epidemic. Tough to watch Wasn't so bad, when Reggie did it, but it is out of control now.
  8. Like I said it's not all about foul calls. No calls on this end, touch calls on that end Who the ball is out of bounce on. Non called goaltending Double dribble calls Non traveling calls The only thing consistent last night was Miami got all those calls their way. Miami played good and Denver did some dumb things, fouling on multiple 3ptrs, 2 guys running with 1 leaving guys wide open, missing their switching assignments. That 10pts from Duncan Robinson to start the 4th was brutal. Denver couldn't take a timeout at the end being down 3 because it would of given Miami a chance to talk about the situation and take a foul instead of letting them shoot a 3. If that goaltend was called it would've been a 1pt game. Even better take away the phantom 3pt play by Butler, where he flopped, late in the game and it would of been a tie going into the last possession. Now I do blame Malone for not using his challenge. There was multiple times were he should've, especially that 3pt play by Butler, where he wasn't even touched. With the inconsistency of NBA refs, teams should have more than 1 challenge, or at least if your challenge is successful you get another one. I stand by that was the worst "game" I seen ref'd, and when I say game, I mean the complete thing. Have I seen more egregious moments? Without a doubt, but as a whole, that game took the cake. Yeah, probably seems about right. Hopefully he does finally learn what he is doing isn't ok, because it will probably end up costing him his life, let alone his career.
  9. Nah, game 1 was fine. Miami wasn't aggressive at all, just kept jacking up 3's and jump shots. Even said so themselves. Last night was something else and a reason why the NBA product isn't very good. Let's even say what you said is true, refs shouldn't go into a game with the intent to "make up" for last games calls. Refs always have there moments, where they put their stamp on the game, last night it was literally from the opening tip on. Not even all about foul calls. 3 straight loose in balls that seemed to be off Miami, but possession given to Miami. Obvious goaltend at the end in a 3 point game. Think that was my last game of the season. Don't really care who wins, but I have no interest in watching garbage like that. I will tune back in for Ja punishment and the draft.
  10. This is legit the worst game I have seen ref'd. That's saying a lot. The whole game has been trash. I don't even really care who wins.
  11. Mini camp will have media access everyday. Will be nice.
  12. Definitely wasn't a playoff game, as it would of had to of been in the finals.
  13. Bird is back as a consultant now, as of the last couple weeks. Like that move.
  14. Kind of with you here. I mean if it's a vet minimum contract, it doesn't really matter either way. Fine to let him come in and compete, but I don't have very high expectations, as I don't think he brings much to SPT, like Dulin and McKenzie.
  15. Bills signed Ed Oliver to an extension. That was the first move they needed to make if they are looking to bring in Hopkins.
  16. I wish we could go back to Sunday at noon games. Been a while. Those were the days. But yeah I agree, I hate prime time games.
  17. Next week OTA schedule: June 5th June 6th June 7th June 8th Media with access to just 1 of those practices. That will be followed by mandatory mini camp on June 13th.
  18. Doubt it is the starting slot/ or the primary slot backup, whichever he ends up being. Plus he can return, so he has SPT value.
  19. Doesn't seem like the SPT type to me. Uninformed opinion by me. He is going to have to win the #4 spot imo, if he wants to make the roster. We have to sign him first though.
  20. https://1075thefan.com/92431/colts-ota-notebook-week-2-gardner-minshew-takes-all-starting-reps/ Kevin Bowen article
  21. Came in the league continuing the issue. https://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/43300/what-can-ravens-learn-from-breshad-perriman-the-nfls-worst-ranked-wr Has turned around a little since then. https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2020/07/21/new-york-jets-breshad-perriman-drops/ Actually had 4 drops in 2020, only 2 since then, although with reduced targets. https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/breshad-perriman-10069 So all in all, still seems to have a little issue.
  22. Today hasn't been a disappointment, a lot of news/info coming out today.
