  1. If so, we will probably be sitting in good position in our division. That will mean we have won some games if we get flexed in, and with the majority of division games early. We will probably have done pretty well in those games.
  2. Short video, but it was packed with jewels. That was a great catch down the sidelines by Hull.
  3. Strachan, had a long developmental road. Can't imagine last season debacle helped anything? Final roster was going to be a tough get for him this year anyway I think. We were always going to be bringing in a vet at some point, making his spot chances smaller. Pittman Pierce Downs Dulin McKenzie Locks Perriman would creat a strong 6 man core.
  4. Reps that will certainly help his progression and growth.
  5. Today's the day. Should get some media updates at some point. Also, 1st game of season is 100 days away from today. The count down begins.
  6. https://coltswire.usatoday.com/lists/indianapolis-colts-x-factors-shane-steichen-anthony-richardson-2023/ Shane Steichen's impact Anthony Richardson exceeds expectations Tony Sparano Jr. fixing the offensive line Brief snippet of this portion: Jonathan Taylor returns to MVP form Shaquille Leonard's comeback Growth of Kwity Paye and Dayo Odeyingbo Article delves deeper into each subject clearly, but can't bring it all over Brought small portion of Sparano section over as that has something I've been hoping for. Check it out. Thoughts?

  8. Back to the original post about this, seems like they got something backwards with their Johnson/Hill numbers. Johnson has decimals, Hill has whole numbers. But chart shows Hill will decimals and Johnson with whole numbers. Johnson - 19 Hill - 6.03 Jimmy Johnson has early 6th round value + 16.4pts - pick 183-184 range https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp?RequestTeam=Ind Rich Hill has late 5th round value #35 - 170pts #44 - 135pts #110 - 30pts #158 - 10pts #211 - 3pts +8pts - pick 167-172 https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart-Rich-Hill.asp?RequestTeam=Ind Inconsequential, but a little flaw in that data entry. Only thing I don't like about Rich Hill's is the value he places on those top 3 picks, where I think Jimmy Johnson's has the advantage in my eyes. Although I like the value gained on Rich Hill's better. Lol.
  9. I will say, me personally though, I find more value than an early 6th(compilation of trades). We got 4 players for the 1 pick(#35), once the dust settled, and got the guy we would of probably taken at #35 in the first place. So adding (3) guys for "free" essentially, is a big win. So I would say I lean a little more towards value charts than trade charts for that reason. Maybe somewhere in the middle, late 3rd early 4th "value", and that's mainly because I think we would of took Brents at #35 either way. Seems teams are closer to the trade chart when making deals, but claim the value charts after deal, if it shows a big win.
  10. I see it now. When I first read it, thought you were saying 1st trade down got 6th round value and 2nd trade got 2nd round value. Then was blinded by just waking up and already looking for a flaw. Clearly teams aren't using the value charts as you stated in post above. Thanks for helping me read out the chart. Should just read the picks we kept and sent out. No need to have them cancel each other out. EDIT: ahh who am I to tell the guy how to do his charts(have to account for the picks). It was my reading comprehension that caused the problem.
  11. It is, but it's not. They are outgoing, you can't claim the value if you don't use the pick. It got traded again, it is not incoming value #38 and #141 are not incoming value, because we didn't use the picks. You can't claim both sets of picks as incoming/outgoing value. Just can't
  12. The Colts shouldn't have pick #38 on their 2nd list. They traded it. So that is way off. Should just be #44, That's where the early 2nd value is showing and incorrectly at that. Shouldn't have pick #141 on 2nd list either. Don't get to claim value gained on a pick you didn't use. Don't know if this is a flaw across all teams but he definitely messed up his colts numbers.
  13. Today was the first day of this week's OTA's. Wonder if media will be allowed tomorrow or Friday? One or the other. Ready for some reports.
  14. Colts trades breakdown: #35 - 550 #38 - 520 #141 - 35.5 + 5.5pts (late 6th difference) #38 - 520 #44 - 460 #110 - 74 + 14pts (high 6th difference) #141 - 35.5 #158 - 27 #211 - 5.4 - 3.1pts (late 6th difference)
  15. Something else I would like to bring to light. I know a lot of posters don't trust the draft pick value chart, but as trades were announced I was checking the chart to see how close they were. They were really close on the chart, outside trade up to #3 and the Patriots taking a hit to trade down and hurt the Jets by letting Steelers take their(Jets) guy. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp
  16. Fair point. Not sure of reasoning, couple things come to mind. 1. I just tried to do a quick Google search (not to intensely), and couldn't find Jeremiah, Brooks, McShay or Reid full team breakdown articles. PFF did grades as a staff it seems (combined effort) Found a video of Bucky Brooks and Matt Miller draft grades. Maybe only graded evaluators if they posted a full team draft grades article? I do see an additional article from NFL.com, but by Eric Edholm. 2. I only see (1) outlet that has multiple entries (CBS), so that blows my #2 theory out of water, that they only used 1 per outlet(was my thought before rechecking). Disregard #2 3. You would need to cap it at some point(29 is a lot), but those are definitely some heavy hitters there you mentioned. If you find some of those draft grades articles post them. Like I said I just did a quick search this morning. But yeah overall a good breakdown.
  17. That's where I'm at, just hoping that was the MAIN issue. Braden regressed Kelly regressed Pryor fell off the earth Pinter didn't appear to improve Hard to believe that all this, is just a coincidence? Here's to hoping. Raimann, Nelson, Kelly, Norwell, Smith Freeland, Ekiyor, Pinter, Fries, Freeland Seems like a pretty nice unit if so. I like our young staff, son's of coaches. Time will tell but I am optimistic at this point.
  18. The surgeries are a concern. I think that the whole OL as a whole regression is much more telling. Looking forward to seeing what Sparano does with the unit this week.
  19. I would say he has 2 years minimum. $10m cap savings in 2025 is a good recoup if we need to Can be even more with post June 1st cut POST-6/1 RELEASE 2025 Dead Cap: $6,200,000 2026 Dead Cap: $6,200,000 2025 Cap Savings: $16,563,059 Yeah, he is on a real short leash, at least money wise. Can already save nearly $8m this year Next year we can save almost $12.4m Hopefully Sparano gets these guys going, and If there is any chance to bring in Norwell for cheap it will be nice
