  1. Something else I would like to bring to light. I know a lot of posters don't trust the draft pick value chart, but as trades were announced I was checking the chart to see how close they were. They were really close on the chart, outside trade up to #3 and the Patriots taking a hit to trade down and hurt the Jets by letting Steelers take their(Jets) guy. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp
  2. Fair point. Not sure of reasoning, couple things come to mind. 1. I just tried to do a quick Google search (not to intensely), and couldn't find Jeremiah, Brooks, McShay or Reid full team breakdown articles. PFF did grades as a staff it seems (combined effort) Found a video of Bucky Brooks and Matt Miller draft grades. Maybe only graded evaluators if they posted a full team draft grades article? I do see an additional article from NFL.com, but by Eric Edholm. 2. I only see (1) outlet that has multiple entries (CBS), so that blows my #2 theory out of water, that they only used 1 per outlet(was my thought before rechecking). Disregard #2 3. You would need to cap it at some point(29 is a lot), but those are definitely some heavy hitters there you mentioned. If you find some of those draft grades articles post them. Like I said I just did a quick search this morning. But yeah overall a good breakdown.
  3. That's where I'm at, just hoping that was the MAIN issue. Braden regressed Kelly regressed Pryor fell off the earth Pinter didn't appear to improve Hard to believe that all this, is just a coincidence? Here's to hoping. Raimann, Nelson, Kelly, Norwell, Smith Freeland, Ekiyor, Pinter, Fries, Freeland Seems like a pretty nice unit if so. I like our young staff, son's of coaches. Time will tell but I am optimistic at this point.
  4. The surgeries are a concern. I think that the whole OL as a whole regression is much more telling. Looking forward to seeing what Sparano does with the unit this week.
  5. I would say he has 2 years minimum. $10m cap savings in 2025 is a good recoup if we need to Can be even more with post June 1st cut POST-6/1 RELEASE 2025 Dead Cap: $6,200,000 2026 Dead Cap: $6,200,000 2025 Cap Savings: $16,563,059 Yeah, he is on a real short leash, at least money wise. Can already save nearly $8m this year Next year we can save almost $12.4m Hopefully Sparano gets these guys going, and If there is any chance to bring in Norwell for cheap it will be nice
  6. He has $1m guaranteed for injury this year. Wouldn't think that would be too big a number to blink at, but they only l have $2.8m in cap space, so they can use that extra $1m.
  7. Not reading to much in to this. Seems like a leak, to make it not as obvious they are in full blown tank mode. Releasing a top 10-15 WR isn't a great look, got to make it seem like there is a different reason. There is a new regime, GM and coach. So only one to be frustrated would be the owner. Seems like a lot of nothing. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/05/30/cardinals-officially-release-deandre-hopkins/ He has officially been released now though.
  8. Yeah, I think it is a formality, but I don't think it is imminent at the moment. Just whenever he can pass it. I would think if it was going to be within next couple days they would've just kept his roster status the same. Who knows though maybe they really wanted that roster spot for a couple days.? He would be a really good addition to the line for the right money.
  9. He is on the Reserve Pup list He will be released once he can pass a physical. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/05/30/report-commanders-will-release-andrew-norwell-after-he-passes-a-physical/ So not healthy right now, would be a good pick up though once he is.
  10. Comp % - is that really the Colts rookie record? Seems low. Rushing yards Rushing TDs
  11. He actually still hasn't officially been released, still possible he gets traded. League offices have been closed since Friday. Probably be released today though https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/05/29/deandre-hopkins-has-not-yet-been-officially-released/ His contract isn't actually that bad for traded team. 2023 - $19.45m non guaranteed 2024 - $14.9m non guaranteed https://www.spotrac.com/news/nfl-trade-candidates-1797/ Found old article, all cap sites already had his contract taken off the books I think the biggest issue on the trade is the 2 teams that are most connected to him are so low at the moment. He also doesn't have an agent, so that complicates things as well. He was suspended for 6 games. He missed the last 2 games of the year, when team didn't have meaningful games to play. I agree though, he had a good shortened season, and a good chunk was with Colt McCoy. Averaged 7 catches and 80yds a game in those 9 games. 119 receptions 1,360 yards over 17 game projection And none of the games were missed because of injury.
  12. Game was over when Tatum got hurt on first play. Brown is so lazy with the ball. They can keep him. We'll just use our assets to trade up and get Miller.
  13. I might go put some money on the Heat. Seems to many odds are stacking against them.
  14. I hear you, I actually hate everything about Boston. Most of all their fans. I took share that Lakers love, but can't again until LeBron is gone.
  15. I'm still pulling for Boston. Hmm, maybe not, if it would help us get Brown. Knick Bavetta
  16. Good luck. Already underdogs on the road, now faced with having Scott Foster as lead official. Not looking good
  17. Told you, this used to be the first thing I would do on game days. Check referee assignment. I just don't see why the NBA continues to let this happen. They have to know these numbers as well. Just not a good look. Ultimately it will come down to the players. Heat got the split with Knicks this playoffs, with Foster(only Heat win in last 14, Foster ref'd), so I guess there is a chance. Come down to who can over come calls and make some shots. Another little tidbit from Game 6. Heat actually got the wrong calls in their favor at the end.
  18. https://www.si.com/nfl/colts/news/colts-mobile-qb-impacts-run-anthony-richardson Thought this article was very insightful, into what and how Richardson will change our offense and the advantages it presents. Snippet from article:
  19. @2006Coltsbestevernot looking good for heat tonight. https://official.nba.com/referee-assignments/ Ol Scotty Foster We already established his record on Heat games. 13 of 14 after game 4.
  20. Posters didn't go to the Peyton Legacy thread to see 2 posters arguing who is right or wrong about Irsay and his demands, which one of you has been a fan longer.
  21. Hardly the first time threads have been split on the board.
