  1. I just looked it up and I can't believe Burrow almost has the same completion rate and AR has a better one than Love.
  2. I just gave it a LIKE, it was a well thought out post with some good points.
  3. Yeah I remember that game, he pulled the game out for a win. He made the Lions relevant much like Matt Ryan did in Atlanta, both got drafted by crappy franchises and were great but were always overlooked because of who they played for.
  4. No that is next year. Still 4 this year. I wish it was 8, that would be the perfect number. 8 because the regular season still means something if a team does slip up and lose, 8 because that gives 4 other teams a chance at winning it all.
  5. Credit to Stafford, he got the ball out just in time on a few of those throws and his accuracy was pinpoint impressive. When he got injured, I thought we had them for sure but he is a winner and a great Veteran QB. He may not make the Hall of Fame but he might, he does have a ring and great numbers.
  6. I don't blame you at all for thinking that. That is another reason why I would leave it to the player if he thinks he can play or not. If the player is really feeling bad, he won't play because he is getting paid anyway.
  7. I think if a player is feeling good by Friday after getting a mild concussion from a game almost a week ago, it should be their decision if they want to play or not on Sunday's upcoming game. Doctors are not God. A person knows their own body better than anyone else. AR probably could have played at Baltimore, but the doctors kept him out. I say that because after AR's supposed concussion, he was spotted out walking around the next day in broad day light doing normal things.
  8. Georgia isn't the same, they struggled with Auburn this past Saturday and Alabama has already lost, so kiss them goodbye. Michigan and Ohio St will play at the end, the loser will be out of the playoffs. It is only 4 teams that get in.
  9. Back in the day I used to down a 6 pack pretty fast and do a shot of Crown before each game. Then go inside and just order 1 or 2
  10. I think right now, Oregon can beat anyone. JMO. USC maybe can beat anyone as well because of their QB.
  11. Problem is most people don't have patience. I even thought that it would take Leonard 8 or 9 games before he started to become at least good again. I posted that back in August. In today's world, the younger generation want players to get cut or not be back the next year if they have 2 or 3 bad games. Never seen anything like it. It would have been so priceless had this forum been around when Peyton threw 28 INT's as a rookie and we went 3-13. Then 10 years later go back and look at the comments and see how many people say he was a bust, sucked, etc..
  12. Point is, he can go back and there would be nothing wrong about it - that is his decision as a Junior. Also the Pac-12 is loaded with good teams = Oregon, Washington, and Utah. They are all top 20 teams, that isn't weak. I have been watching a lot of college football this year and those teams are explosive. Oregon is a machine. Oregon and Washington are both top 10 teams actually.
  13. Celine Dion - powerful voice. I loved Joan Jett as a kid. Pat Benatar too.
  14. See above, I had Tina Turner right there regarding voice. I will think of some more shortly. This is kind of fun
  15. I almost put Tina Turner in my top 5, she is right there.
  16. That was a PI and a personal foul. The REFS laid a turd on that one.
  17. I hope Taylor plays and reels off a 75-yard TD run so the haters can go kick rocks. That is what I think of it.
  18. The word "easily" is false. If Stroud is "easily" the best, why did we go into his house and blow them out. AR also outplayed him in the 1st half. Interesting.
  19. Yeah it is the entertainment factor and how some entertainers can relate to teenage kids better. I have to admit, I had no idea who Spears was for at least 2 years after she had been popular. I knew who Christina was though because when a song of hers came on the radio, it stood out. Regarding women singers = Swift, Madonna - back in the day, Spears, Rhianna, and Beyonce just overwhelm people with the way they can entertain. None of them have great voices but good enough, then they entertain the best. Lee Ann Rhimes, Carrie Underwood, and Kelly Clarkson all have a much better voice than Taylor Swift does but they don't have the same sex appeal or popularity Swift does. My top 5 women singers of all-time are - based on voice/hitting notes: 1. Whitney Houston - I actually have her #1. 2. Stevie Nicks 3. Aretha Franklin 4. Mariah Carey - When she first came out, she was Elite, could hit every note and loudly. Last 20 years, she hasn't been near the same. Listen to her early 90's music. 5. Christina Aguilera - Like Carey but she still has it.
  20. A lot of people nitpick on here, you should know that by now. Several people in here think I am Justin Herbert hater (they read want they want to read and nitpick it), because I have him rated the 7th best QB in the league and not in the top 5. Like 7 sucks or something , 7 is actually very good. He just hasn't won enough for my taste. Another example is when I did my all-time QB list, I had Brady 1, Montana 2, and Peyton 3. I have Peyton 3rd out of over 1,000's of QB's that have started in the history this league, and some think I am hater. My all-time top 5 QB list is agreed upon by around 90% of the media at ESPN and the NFL Network. I have - #4 is Mahomes, #5 is Unitas. Mahomes doesn't have the longevity as many of the other greats but his accomplishments are overwhelming in 5 seasons. My eye test says he is 4. He has as many SB wins as Elway and more League MVP's than Elway.
  21. That is a great, funny post. That is what weather people do. They say, it may snow 9 inches or 3 so prepare folks - Best job in the world and they get paid well.
  22. It is early, we will see. When Ryan Leaf was throwing cannons and started 2-0 and Peyton looked like Jeff George out of the gate, most Colts fans were saying - I wish they would have taken Leaf. That didn't age well.
  23. I doubt that will be the ratio, Stroud could easily get injured taking the hits he takes. Then what would you say? I hope both stay healthy. AR's injury was a fluke.
  24. Yeah Christina is great too, Spears always got more hype and was more popular, why I have no idea. Christina has a much better voice and is even prettier. Whitney Houston may have the best voice of all-time regarding women.
