  1. The NFL Network just said Taylor is playing, he is good to go. Per: Rapoport.
  2. Lets see, out of 188 pages of posts, this may be the best one I have seen
  3. I agree and lets hope Tannehill is, 'BAD' Tannehill. For some reason against us he plays good and even runs like Michael Vick (sarcasm)against us at times. I think it was in 2021, I remember Tannehill taking off and strolling for a 20 yard run against us here on like a 3rd and 17 . I can't wait to see Taylor play, he should have fresh legs but may have rust as well from not getting hit in almost 10 months.
  4. My picks for the NLDS = Dodgers over D Backs 3-1, Braves over Phillies 3-2 ALDS = Astros over Twins 3-1, Orioles over Rangers 3-1.
  5. As of now, in the East I think the Bucks and Celtics are the 2 best teams. In the West it is the Nuggets and Lakers. Nuggets losing Brown may hurt them? I have the Pacers 6th in the East which would keep us out of the playin round. Haliburton should have a great season.
  6. Simmons and Autry are going to be a pain but AR is very mobile so we will see.
  7. Yeah it looks like Buckner is playing and seems to be healthy again. I haven't heard anything different. We should be able to pressure Tannehill and force a turnover or 2. Henry still scares me because if he gets going it will be a tough game. We need to get a lead early and force Tannehill to pass.
  8. Paye being out sucks, other than that we look healthier compared to last week. I figured Leonard would be out, what else is new. Looks like Kelly is playing.
  9. I have us winning by 7. My uncle who is a Titans fan says Colts by 7. Tannehill has also stunk on the road this season.
  10. Yeah that is why I take the good with the bad. I can sympathize with Bills, Vikings, Bengals, Titans, and Chargers fans that have never won one because those franchises have been close and have had some great teams. The Dolphins have won 2 SB's but in the Marino era (1983-1999), they never won a SB either. Still not sure how the 1998 Vikings lost @NFLfan, or the 1990 Bills lost. They lost in heartbreaking fashion. Vikes took a dump in overtime in the 1998 NFC Title game and the Bills FG kicker missed a kick in the SB.
  11. The forum doesn't allow it, nobody is betting on/in the forum with each other. Betting is legal and what people do outside the forum is their own business. There is no forum rule talking about a team you bet on. Sorry to burst your bubble.
  12. Nelly of old, yes, he is still very good though. He was great his 1st 4 years.
  13. When we won the SB in 2006, I was in Florida staying at a Hilton on the beach. Around midnight the waves were coming in and it was 70 degrees in February of 07. I remember getting a lawn chair, putting it by the water and smoking a huge Cigar and drinking a beer. I just stared at the ocean for an hour and said we did it. As a fan that was a huge weight lifted off of me after being called a choke for years. Nobody even bothered me or told me I needed to leave the beach area. I was there in peace
  14. Yeah, Ballard really had no choice in 2019 because Luck retired right before the season. Getting Rivers in 2020 was a good move as well. I look at 2021 and 2022 and I really don't see any QB that is great yet. Drafting AR here in 2023 was a good move.
  15. Really not until 2003 were we a true powerhouse. We were 6-10 in 2001 and only won 10 games in 2002 and got blown out by the Jets 41-0 in the playoffs. 1999 was a great year but we lost early in the playoffs. 2003, just had a different feel to it, for me anyway. The way we played that whole year I could just tell we were going to be great for a long time.
  16. Yeah their window is closed IMO, they got the best years out of Henry and came up short. They are still a team that can't be taken lightly, and they could even win the division because it may only take 9 or 10 wins but as far as winning the SB, their best chance was from 2019-2021. A QB like a Tannehill could win a SB because we have seen it with Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, and Nick Foles but all those teams had great defenses. Tennessee has a good defense but when it comes to playing teams like the Chiefs and Bills, and Cincy the last 2 years, good doesn't cut it, you have to be great. If AR develops into a good QB, we can win a SB even with Taylor here, but our defense has to be great to do so.
  17. He is no doubt our best player, that is what gets lost in all of this. He is a RB so it gets overlooked. Can't wait to get him back.
  18. If you are betting, put Money on the Colts, we are getting 2 points now and take the Bills and give the 5.5 points, they will beat the Jags by a TD. I am $200 ahead so far through 4 weeks.
  19. Strange, it is a poll regarding whether or not = are you enjoy the season so far? It is at the top of the thread.
  20. Regarding games I will be getting Sunday: (CBS) Titans at Colts at 1pm, then at 430PM Chiefs at Vikings. @NFLfan, I get the Vikings game (FOX) 430pm Bengals at Cards
  21. I was at work that night and was busy for a while, someone told me we were down 35-14 with like 5 minutes left, so I figured it was over. I went to the breakroom and watched the OT and we won, from then on, I never doubted Peyton again. That game was in 2003 and started a run of 7 straight seasons of 12 or more wins through 2009. I will also never forget calling my mom around 8 in the morning the next day and the 1st thing she brought up to me was, did you see the Colts last night get killed - I said that was a bad loss
