FWIW: My Uncle called me earlier this morning, he lives in Kentucky and is a huge Titans fan. He has been a Titans fan since 1999 so he remembers their SB run (watched it) and losing to the Rams when they had McNair and George. This is the 1st time since we had Rivers that he is scared of our team going back to 2020. He thinks AR will eat them alive by throwing short, especially using the TE's. He also says it will be setup to do so easily because all AR has to do is bust off a couple of big runs and it will open everything up for us. He can't stand Tannehill and wants Levis to play, he told me the Titans are not going anywhere with Tannehill. He gave up on Tannehill after last year. He knows more Titans football than anyone in here including me, he has followed them from the 1999 season to now and has rarely missed watching a game. He thinks we will win, I asked him to give me a score, and he has it at 24-17 by a TD. He told me the only chance the Titans have is, if Henry has a big game and the Titans can get up early to control the clock, otherwise if they are playing from behind, he told me the Titans will be in big trouble and won't score much. He watched the whole Cincy at Titans game last week and was happy with the win but told me that Burrow didn't look right at all, he had 0 mobility and looked like he was playing on 1 leg at times. Only players he really likes on the Titans is Simmons, Autry, and Henry, he also likes Vrabel as his coach. He thinks Levis should be in there and told me Tannehill has ruined this core's chances to win the SB. He keeps bringing up 2021 when the Titans were a 1 seed and Cincy went into Tennessee and won - he was at that game by the way. Thought I would post this since I talked to a diehard Titans fan this morning.

Good read and you read people well like me. With this situation it is a bit different and why JT and Ballard have kept this in house as much as possible. Everything either one of them say will be nitpicked and they know it. No matter what they say, they can't win the fans unless of course, JT says - he wants to be a Colt for life and Ballard says we have a great contract ready for him. Outside of that, nobody is going to walk away being happy with this. It really doesn't bother me as long as JT plays good, especially great and we win. I am not worried about next year, we will cross that bridge when it comes.

I am just not a fan of Taylor's music, like I am not of Beyonce either. It caters towards teenage girls is probably why. I love 70's and 80's light rock and hard rock. I get into stuff like Phil Collins, Styx, Pink Floyd, Eagles, Fleet Wood Mac/Stevie/Buckingham, Kiss, Christopher Cross - great voice, Prince, then hardcore wise AC/DC, and Metallica - me every time 'ONE' comes on from Metallica. I used to play that song when I lifted weights at 17/18/19 years old. It got me pumped.

What some don't realize is, we could get away with letting Edge James go because we had Peyton, Reggie, and Marvin. We don't have that luxury now.

It isn't about 1 player I agree 100% but you need very good/great players to win and when healthy Taylor is great.

The Vikings should trade Kirk and move up in the draft.

That was a mistake, I did like Rivers gamble though because with him we had a chance to win it all. Rivers had a good defense and the O.Line was good that year too. Our 2020 team almost beat the Bills in the playoffs. Over the last 3 years there really hasn't been any eye popping QB's that have came out, like a Luck for example. Let me ask you this, had Luck not retired, what do you think Ballard's record would be? I would guess he would have won 65% of his games at least. From 2012-2014 with Luck and no run game we won 69% of our games. Is that because of Grigson or Luck? I think we know the answer.

Better get a franchise QB that is the key to a good winning%, if you have that and a good defense you can win a lot of games.

I get why some are upset with him with holding out, I was upset with it, I didn't think his presser was all that good but it wasn't bad either. Everyone on planet earth has told a lie at 1 time or another. Whether he is liar or not, doesn't matter as long as plays great on the field. Bill and Tom lied for 20 years and everyone knows it and so does the media but yet they are regarded the GOAT's.

Those 2 QB's couldn't carry Kirk's jock strap but I get your point. Vikings fans in general, should hope the Vikings just draft a QB if you guys want Captain gone so bad.

My point earlier, as long as he plays great and helps us win, I don't care how he sounds to some. The Patriots cheated for 20 years and nobody cares outside of us and probably Pittsburgh because it affected how many Championships we won and Pitt won, nobody cares because the Patriots 6 Championships stand in the books with no ASTERICK by it. It isn't like JT is a criminal or did anything bad, he just wants to be paid for being a top 3 RB in the league. It is not only a sport, but also a business. If he gets severely injured tomorrow, the league isn't going to take care of him or are the fans. It is not like he has made 30 million dollars and squandered it away, that would be on him.

RIP Dick Butkus. The guy is one of the best football players of all-time. When I think of MLB's I think of Dick Butkus, Ray Lewis, and Mike Singletary. Dick paved the way for those guys. Huge loss, I met him while in Chicago when I went to the 2004 Colts game at Soldier field. I went with a friend of mine who is a huge Bears fan. The guy was a monster on the field but a Teddy Bear in person. SAD.

He did say he likes the fans here, the city, and his teammates + winning a championship for Indianapolis is important.

You probably think I think you're a negative person. I do think you are to a point - that is different, but you have many good posts so I guess if there is a middle bucket you belong there . Why do you think I am always like this cheerleader of the team, I guess like @Nickster, I can dress the part and say go team go . I have been overly critical of this team for the last 2 years at times. I even said Matt Ryan played terrible and he is a guy I think is a Hall of Famer.

I think we re-sign both. Pittman is good, just because he isn't great isn't a reason not to bring him back. I guess it depends on what he asks?

What other side is there? You are either positive or negative? I don't mind a difference of opinion or someone even disagreeing with me, but you read the posts in here, so don't play that game like you don't know who is negative all the time. There are even a few posters that don't show up after we win because they predicted we would win 3 games . I am a lot of things, but I am no dummy. After we beat Baltimore, I can call out 5 posters that didn't show up all week until we lost to the Rams. I mean how childish is that . I am here win or lose.
