  1. My weeks go like this Week 1 = 9-7 Week 2 = 12-4 Week 3 = 12-4 Week 4 = 11-5 Totals = 44-20
  2. I have actually never been a fan of hers. I don't dislike her but her music isn't my kind of music. She doesn't have a great voice either, good but not great. To me great is Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera as far as a voice.
  3. Yesterday's loss doesn't bother me too much. I guess it is because it looked over at halftime. Then we played with heart in the 2nd half. We have an entertaining team for a change. Also, usually each year, a team has 8 close games = games decided by 7 points or less. As long as we go 4-4 in those games, that is good. We are 1-1 so far in close games, the Baltimore win offset the Rams lost. What becomes maddening is, when you lose like 5 or 6 close games. That would be a kick to the teeth.
  4. That is a classic GIF. That is Homer's pops. Homer tops it though with this -it's him whistling that cracks me up lol.
  5. Burrow is playing on 1 leg. Let's see how their D.Line does against a healthy QB that can run.
  6. I don't see them beating Philly but then again I didn't think they would knock the Cubs out of the playoffs either.
  7. Many don't follow if their team stinks. I don't blame you. I was like that last year. I still watch the playoffs regardless who is in it.
  8. I think you meant Phillies and yes I think the Phillies will beat the Marlins.
  9. Caleb Williams is a Junior, not a Senior, he might very well wait another year to come out if USC doesn't win it all. He may want to stay to have a chance at a National Championship. If he stays at USC, he would be doing nothing wrong.
  10. Yeah that is right, I forgot about that one.
  11. Cool, I didn't remember that. I know Stephen predicts us to always do well but a lot of times I can't tell if he is just messing around. Sometimes he will say stuff like 20-0 . I do most had us winning 3 or 4 games. Some in here had us winning 5. @NewColtsFanhad 7 which he may nail it, that is a real reasonable prediction. I still think we get to 8, yesterday would have really helped but we didn't pull it off.
  12. It depends a lot on our health. We were pretty banged up this week but still almost won. I would imagine, Raimann and Kelly will be back which will be huge. Also, the big elephant in the room, - is Taylor going to play? Assuming we are healthier, I think we will win this game but it will be close. Colts 24-20. I haven't heard yet but I don't think any of our key players got injured yesterday.
  13. +The Cubs season ends with an 83-79 record. 2nd in the NL Central, respectable but nothing to brag about. +Here is what the Cubs have accomplished since 2015. This is going back 10 seasons now with 2024 awaiting. (2015-2024 seasons). 2015 = 97-65 (playoff appearance) 2016 = 103-58 (playoff appearance) (Division Champs) (NL Champs) (WS Champs) 2017 = 92-70 (playoff appearance) (Division Champs) 2018 = 95-68 (playoff appearance) 2019 = 84-78 (missed playoffs) 2020 = 34-26 (playoff appearance) (Division Champs) - Covid shorten season. 2021 = 71-91 (missed playoffs) 2022 = 74-88 (missed playoffs) 2023 = 83-79 (missed playoffs) 2024 = 0-0 so far? Totals: 733-623 54.1% winnings 3 Division Championships = 2016, 2017, 2020 1 NL Championship = 2016 1 WS Championship = 2016 +The 2023 Playoffs start tomorrow: WildCard Round Rangers at Rays (AL) Blue Jays at Twins (AL) D Backs at Brewers (NL) Marlins at Phillies (NL) -All best of 3. +I like the Rays 2-1 over Rangers. +I like the Blue Jays 2-1 over Twins. +I like the D Backs 2-1 over Brewers. +I like the Phillies 2-1 over the Marlins.
  14. Yeah I went 10-5 and have Seahawks as well. My goal is always to try to at least go 11-5, 12-4 or better is great. 11-5 is very good and still tough to do in many weeks.
  15. To follow this up, the only year I have been way off on predicting what the Colts would finish (before season), was last year. Last year did shock me but a lot went wrong. I had us going 11-6 and winning the division, so I whiffed on that pick, but in 2021, I had us going 9-8 and nailed it, and in 2020 I had us going 11-5 and making the playoffs. I believed in Rivers in 2020, I didn't care for the Wentz trade but still thought we would be above .500 with him.
  16. I don't think we are a SB contender but to your post it can be a little both regarding evaluating AR and we can still win games with this roster. This season is about AR improving/progressing (we all get that part of it) but I actually think we can win the AFC South because our division isn't that strong. I may be the only one in here that didn't pick the Colts to finish with a losing record. I had 8-8-1. If anyone had us winning 9 or more games, I don't remember it. I didn't even make that pick because I love the Colts or being a Homer. I just believed that AR would at least play above average, and our defense would be good + I thought Shane would be much better than Reich. Almost everyone in the media, including our media had us pegged at winning 3 or 4 games. Many in here did as well.
  17. I don't know about them winning the division, it will be a close race between all 4 teams IMO. We already have a win at Houston which is huge. Jacks plays the Bills this week, good luck with that. Josh Allen is on a hot roll!
  18. Actually, if the Seahawks win, @Solid84 can go 13-3. He has lost 3 games which is still great. Colts, Bengals, and Steelers all lost. He beat me this week.
  19. That was my pick before the season to win it all. It was mainly because I had them winning their division and getting a high seed to start out with, playing at least 1 home game. They are due as well. They have a great QB and Coach IMO.
  20. You kicked butt this week! Very nice picking
  21. So far 10-5 this week, if Seahawks win I will get to 11-5. I did have the Lions on Thursday which I posted before game time. My last 3 weeks Week 1 = 9-7 Week 2 = 12-4 Week 3 = 12-4 -I was 33-15 going into this week. My main 2 $50 bets each week. I broke even again this week. Week 1 = 2-0 Week 2 = 2-0 Week 3 = 1-1 Week 4 = 1-1 -Still roughly $200 to the good. Yesterday I had Ravens and Colts on my 2 bets, Colts almost pulled it out, oh well. 6-2 in games where you actually gamble is good, I will take it.
  22. I read about that this morning. I remember him, he was a good player. RIP.
