Before the season started I had us going 8-8-1, so we are right where I thought we would be. We need to get more consistent on offense, AR has stretches where he looks great, then he has stretches where he looks bad. He is a rookie though and I just want to see progression there. We have seen what he is capable of doing, 1st half at Houston and in the 4th Qtr yesterday. So he definitely has potential to at least be good, don't know about great but I will take good. Really our main weakness is our Secondary, that killed us yesterday.

To the OP, To your answer your question, I think we are much better than people think. Some think that our roster has little talent. I beg to differ, we need to improve our Secondary that I would agree on but overall, we are a middle of the pack team right now as in capable playing .500 ball and beating anyone on any given Sunday. We aren't 3 or 4 win team like most predicted. I will take an 8-9/9-8 season with a rookie QB and rookie Headcoach all day. From that point on we can only get better once we get Secondary help. I think had we had Taylor, we could even be 3-1 or 4-0 simply because his HR hitting ability and we would have the ability to control the clock even better.

Stroud and AR both look good, Young looks like the odd ball out right now. That surprises me really because I thought Young would be good right off the bat because of his football IQ.

It feels good to win though doesn't it. We lost today in heart breaking fashion, and I can brag about how great AR played in the 4th, and make excuses to why we lost, and people will just ignore it. In the end people will tell me scoreboard. People only care if you win or lose, that has been the bottom-line since I have been alive for 50 years watching sports. They don't care how great a player plays or how lucky the other team gets. In the end, they just say SCOREBOARD. When the Cubs won the WS in 2016, nobody even remembers that the Indians were up 3-1 in that series and we won 3 in a row and won game 7 by 1 run in 10 Innings. They just say the Indians are chumps and the Cubs are kings . It is a tough sports world we live in.

To sum things up: Everyone in our division is 2-2. So hey it is like we have played no games. Opening day is next week! Cincy is in trouble; Burrow looks like he has an Achilles problem. They are 1-3. Bills smash Dolphins 48-20. Now people can stop saying the Dolphins are the greatest team ever . 4-0 teams = 49ers, Eagles, only 2. @NFLfan, the Captain won today , my main man Kirk.

I liked what I seen out of AR today in the 4th Qtr mainly. He was playing bad for a while, then he just flipped a switch and turned into Andrew Luck. They just showed Taylor Swift again

He is coming off injury and missing a year. I said about a month ago in here that would take him 8 or 9 weeks to get back to Maniac. Have patience.

Yeah, AR played bad for a while, he got cookin in the 4th. I think he can be good but he may be streaky at times which will drive people nuts.

Pittman got interfered with in the endzone but we got away with one last week at Baltimore so that is football for you.
