  1. Calvin Ridley is an interesting target. Can/Will Jacksonville make the move to extend him? If they do they have to give up a 2nd round pick to Atlanta, and they have to save cap space for Josh Allen.
  2. My error, I meant to say there are reasons why they would want the Combine, not the Draft. I went to the draft in Cleveland in 2021 and even in post pandemic and bad weather, downtown Cleveland was packed
  3. Maybe its because I'm partial to the draft...but the combine isn't the draft and IMO never will be. Right now it doesnt match the draft when it was just held in the basement of MSG. I'm assuming there are plenty of other monetary reasons why a city would want the combine(mainly team reps, soon to be nfl players and their agents all with money in their pockets ready to spend).
  4. When there was conversation here last year about possibly trading for Fields instead of drafting a qb, I said Chicago is a qb graveyard and you can't hold that against Fields...and wow does this post really illustrate the complete and total disaster of their handling of the qb situation.
  5. This is the big advantage in a year when you're not going to take a qb. Any type of run on qb's helps the Colts out tremendously.
  6. Also known as playoff denial!
  7. Honestly if it was the max they could offer(3 1sts) prior to the draft and Hunter that's a very hard offer to say no to. That is a stunning amount of draft capital to refuse.
  8. Well this was certainly brought up a lot by Chargers fans back then...I think to feel better about losing at home to NE. We will never know the answer of could Indy have beaten SD that year, but the truth is at that time NE completely had the Colts number. To me at the time it was no more of a relief to play at home vs NE than to travel to San Diego.
  9. "his first sack since 2020" That part of the sentence tells you everything tbh
  10. But we were only arguing it with Pats fans, Pats fans were arguing it with everyone everywhere....I had a Pats fan on an MMORPG telling me the technical flaws of the Wells report!
  11. It's even funnier when you hear it in a boston accent
  12. Experts on Ideal Gas Law(pats fans) prepare for battle
  13. It's hard to imagine how they could take so many steps right, while simultaneously so many wrong. I concur, they should have cleaned house after that playoff loss, The probably should have never moved back to LA either but that's a whole different conversation.
  14. Yeah that answer on the poll doesn't actually endorse. I'm about the same on him.
  15. I agree. Probably the best play we've had from that position in 3 years. Don't get me wrong, he's streaky as all get out but he's mobile, he keeps his eyes down field and he will go big when it's there. I would love to keep him another year if that's possible.
  16. Would you categorize that as having a.....need...for more Speed? Would you categorize that as having a.....need...for more Speed?
  17. No my concern was his lack of running in college and did that apply to a general lack of mobility in the pro game. Aside from the Georgia game he rarely scrambled up field when plays broke down or ran on read option plays(which OSU runs a TON of). I think his overall mobility in his NFL game is extremely impressive especially his throws while on the move. In the game vs the Bengals it was like looking at a completely different qb from the year before.
  18. That would've been wildly concerning if that's the case. His running could've been the difference in every OSU loss with the exception of Georgia in games he started. I think it's more likely the fault is with Ryan Day in this scenario.
  19. In general I agree they all have serious flaws. Tenured fans on this board may remember pff scoring was practically dismissed during Quentin Nelson's rookie year because he was receiving so many mediocre grades! I think they have they all have their uses(including eye test) but no single method should be relied on completely. But to echo a previous post, I appreciate the grades being posted, makes re-watches interesting.
  20. I had plenty of reservations about Stroud(and as a Buckeye I saw every snap he took). My big concerns were 1) were his numbers inflated due to having the best receiving corps in school history? 2) with the exception of the Georgia game, he NEVER ran. It was almost a point of refusing to run, and the mobility he has shown in the NFL game is stunning and a big positive for Houston.
  21. Jim Sorgi of course! Best clipboard holder ever!
  22. I lived in Richmond for one year(coming from Ohio) and it was all new to me. One kid who was a Purdue fan and another kid yelled at him "The name of the movie is Hoosiers, not Boilermakers!!!" RIP Coach
  23. You're not a troll for suggesting it. Let's say we get to April and the word is that the shoulder isnt progressing as expected(which considering how info came out on Luck injuries is going to come from outside the organization). Would and should it be considered? I say yes, and I want the young man to succeed as well. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
