1. The Anatomy of a 53-Man Roster in the NFL Nice Read: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1640782-the-anatomy-of-a-53-man-roster-in-the-nfl
2. Love the final month before the draft... For all we know (And we know nothing...ha) we could get both Wilkins, Lawrenace then the top Safety or CB at 59...Abrams...? My my hope is Wilkins (Character and performance) Rapp (Academic all American and Performance) and Top OL , DE WR or CB...
3. McLaurin is a Former Indiana Mr. Football I believe... Been working with Marvin Harrison...
4. Rapp S, Little OT, Bradberry G/C, Dillard OT, Hockenson TE, Gardner-Johnson S, Joe Jackson EDGE, Kaleb McGary OT, David Edwards OT, David Montgomery RB, Justin Layne CB, Terry McLaurin WR, Gary Johnson OLB etc... Would be interesting if teammates were selected... Murphy, Rapp, McGary WASH Hockenson, Hooker, Nelson IOWA Watkins, Lawrence, Mullen CLEM
5. I would flip the first two... Rapp probably won’t fall to 59 but there should be a safety there that would make a difference... Abram, Gardener-Johnson, Savage, Hooker, etc... Really like the Renfrow pick. Nice mock.
6. I would be thrilled with a Hockenson, Rapp or Hockenson, Oruwariye... Hockenson, Lawrence/Simmons...1-2...
7. Thank Ya! I think our current WR Group (Funchess, Hilton, Rodgers, Inman, Cain, etc...) is splendid...aside from another slot (Enter Renfrow in the 4th). Obviously, Isabella would be on my list...but I think he will be gone before our 3rd round pick. Can't see us taking a WR before RD3. Top guy on my list...based on Doyle's uncertainty...is still Hockenson TE...(<RD3) I'm thinking we are going to stack the Defense this draft. It's good to see commonalities among the forum...tells me we see the same team.
8. 100% chance the Colts are not drafting a QB in round one...(Looking at it from a different POV)
9. I think a couple RD1 or RD2 DT might help the edge guys we got. Next years FA, add that specific Edge guy... So I would prefer... 1 or 2 if available of the following; Watkins, Lawrence, Simmons, Tillery, Jones, Saunders, Willis, Omenihu, Jackson at 26/34/59 with Safety or Cornerback being the other selection unless someone falls. I imagine if he (Sweat) is there and Ballard did his homework it would be the right call.
10. I think...we will hedge our bets on the DT position. I would not at all be surprised if we get 3 in the draft. Jones, Saunders, Wren, etc. 2nd-4th rounds
11. 1. Wilkins DT, Murphy CB, Bush ILB, Simmons DT or Hockenson TE 2. Rapp S, Gardener-Johnson S, Lawrence DT, Oruwariye CB or Tillery DT 2. Johnathan Abram S, Dre'Mont Jones DT, Kaleb McGary OT, Charles Omenihu DT or Vosean Joseph LB 3. Gary Johnson LB, Justin Layne CB, Khalen Saunders DT, David Edwards OT or Terry McLaurin WR 4. Renell Wren DT, Mike Bell S, Max Scharping OT, Terry Beckner Jr. DT or Beau Benzschawel OG 4. Lonnie Johnson CB, Joe Gaziano DT, Hunter Renfrow WR, Benny Snell Jr. RB or Te'von Coney LB 5. Ben Powers OG, Derrick Baity CB, Kris Boyd CB, Dru
12. Gardner-Johnson S Amani Oruwariye CB Justin Layne CB Kris Boyd CB Khalen Saunders DT Renell Wren DT Joe Gaziano DT Hunter Renfrow Slot WR https://www.colts.com/news/2019-colts-com-nfl-draft-positional-big-board
13. NFL Free Agency Has Rocked 2019 Draft Plans https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2825467-matt-millers-scouting-notebook-nfl-free-agency-has-rocked-2019-draft-plans?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_campaign=editorial&utm_medium=referral
14. Rodgers has a window... they are doing what they can to surround arguably the best QB in the NFL before his elite play expires...
15. I look at our 101,000,000 as FA icing on the cake... We are still drafting the cake. Next year will be that year we may...dip a little more into FA to find that/those guys that will not complete but compliment Ballard’s vision.
16. The AFC Championship goes through Indy unless I'm missing something...
17. No. Fant is not a WR. Would not be able to separate against average CB. Straight line speed is one thing. Pro Football speed, route running and deception would not be in his favor as a WR.
18. I can dig it... might choose a David Sills or Hunter Renfrow with that 4th rounder. Nice Mock
