  1. Hello friends,

It has been a while since I have reached out to some of you -- you know who you are. I hope all of you are well.

This has been a pretty anxious time. I am thankful that there are forums like this one and the Daily Norseman (Vikings) to provide some distraction from everything surrounding the coronavirus and COVID-19. I'm wondering how coronavirus is affecting folks where you all live. Are businesses shut down where you all are? Are there any curfews or other restrictions? Are you working from home? What is everyone doing to pass the time?

Hope all of you stay safe and have a good week. :hat:

Here all fast food places are open for drive thru like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, White Castle. Subway is open as well for carry out. A lot of businesses are closed like the malls and all restaurants and bars are closed. Gas Stations and grocery stores are open. Stay safe, be well.

Restaurants here are open for deliveries and takeout only. No eating in.

I’m in DE, today our governor has issued the official stay-at-home order for the state which will go into effect on Tuesday. Just like you there is no eating in allowed, and only food chains, gas stations, and pharmacies are allowed open at this point (besides hospitals and I think veterinarians).
I work for a school district and my husband was working for a facility that hosted classes for several colleges off campus. So both of our jobs have been affected and everyone is home. The difference is that I am still getting paid but he is not... so we are facing some tough times ahead, some luxuries may have to be cut off to make ends meet.

This has been the most unproductive time of my life and I hate it! I’ve been watching movies (in the middle of a Rocky marathon right now), playing Candy Crush, card games with my kids, or checking this forum haha. What’s going on in your neck of the woods? Stay safe!
