  One of my sisters works near there. She said she left work early because a big Halloween Parade was supposed to take place there. It is scary.

  My thoughts & prayers are with those effected by this senseless, cowardly act. I also want to lift up those in California where a troubled adult has entered an elementary school & taken a teacher or staff member hostage. My wife is a an elementary school secretary & these things really hit home with me as they are most times the very first line of defense in things like this. She & I always take these particular incidences personal.
