  1. All the best to my beloved 16-year-old nephew Christopher as he travels today to study one semester in France with his senior high school class.

Blessed and safe travels, Chris. As Tim McGraw says, remember to remain humble and kind as you prepare for the rest of your life.

Safe travels to your nephew. That is a great learning experience for him; I hope he makes the most out of it.

Wait, I'm confused. An entire class including Christopher gets to study abroad in France or just Christopher all by himself? Either way, I hope his experience is an entertaining & educational one.

Most people I know got to travel overseas in college never high school though.

@southwest1 Chris is there with 16 of his classmates from his high school, all seniors. Another group of seniors are in Japan for this semester. So, no, it is not his entire class of over 300 students. Only a select few are offered the opportunity to go. :)

Many boarding schools like his have study abroad programs for seniors. More than 10 years ago, my friend's son spent half his senior year in Japan.
