What are the salary cap implications of cutting Gay?  To me he is a no go.  Hasn't really performed or been healthy other than that one game against the Ravens.  Just watching the he and the ND grad kick this year since pre season?  The ND guy looks much better.

Matt Gay shouldn't have been on the field in week two. Schrader is more than capable of handling the kicking duties for a few weeks until Gay healed up from hernia surgery. How ironic is it that Matt Gay suddenly has a new injury after missing a crucial kick in last week's loss to Green Bay?
