You can slide but you will still be hit....run out of bounds or be a running back like everybody else

I’m not worried about the pick play as much as I’m worried about the wr screen and Rb screen with lineman like 10 yds down field. It is already a penalty for both they just need to be a point of emphasis for officials. I do agree with the stiff arm to the face...hands to the face on the line is a penalty why not for offense carrying the ball? I’m still for protecting the qb if they slide first but if they start it late I’m not penalizing the defense...think like two steps after a pass in the pocket.
