Play Calling in short yardage situations

I would've called a qb draw and just lived w/ the consequences.

 

 Was Frank even in the gm? I don't care to look it up.  It's 1 yrd.  Run the ball.  Nobody will blame you if you dont get it.  And no Shotgun unless you're running the qb draw.

I don't mind when TY goes down trying to protect himself.  He is a tiny dude.  But in situations like that, he needed to fight for every yard he could get.

I didn't mind the pass since there was at least one RB next to Luck, so there was at least the possibility of the run.  Is a screen pass a good idea though as opposed to a quick slant or some other quick hitting pass play?  No idea.
