I don't know if this makes sense but when a defense looks like they have more players on the field vs the offense, its always been a sign of a good defense. They swarm to the ball. The Colts defense meets the eye test in that.

I read the Ravens had 1 flag for 5 yards, is that correct? And what about the defender with hands to the face of Pittman jr when his helmet got pulled off? Living in MD all I've heard today is we were "gifted" the win..

That might be enough to offset a JT/AR combination, but I cant help but to want to see them both on the field together..thats the stuff that keeps defensive coordinators up late at night. Something we haven't seen in forever

Agree. And agree. Mainly my comment stems from the view I read everywhere, running backs are replaceable because its a passing league. As if don't need to be able to run the ball. Hull got hurt before we could see what the newly drafted low cost replacement could do. And Moss was inactive. A committee of 3 low cost, mediocre Deon Jacksons is not in our best interest either. A healthy dose of a healthy, elite JT paired with AR would cure a lot of the Colts ailments. We need JT

I'll never be convinced elite running backs and adequate running game aren't important in todays NFL.

Matt Pryor count? Dude was servicable then straight to horrible in matter of an offseason

Doesn't look good but didn't QB Jim Kelly warm back up to Buffalo after not wanting to play there? I realize JT has already played in Indy several years before coming to this and words/shots have been fired too. Guess we'll find out soon enough..

Give it a chance to work out. None of these backs are JT caliber, we all know that. He's a game changer when healthy and will be missed if goes elsewhere.

Maybe its just the fact Chris Ballard got burned once with Andrew Luck and vows to not let that happen again with Taylor. Hope for the best but be prepared for the worst. Chill out and let it play out..

Hypothetically speaking..If the Colts had solved the QB vacancy Luck created and gone on to win and be contenders. Would fans feel differently about his retirement?

Agree. I keep flip flopping on AR and what the Colts will be this year. "IF" he's anything close to the potential experts say he could be and does so quicker than anybody expects? That gets me excited! "IF" he's the inexperienced, non accurate passer others are projecting it could be a long year. The Colts will only go as far as QB/AR can take them.

Idk, its still basically the same team many had pegged as "contenders" after signing Matt Ryan last year..odds are against but not impossible. Lotto is sheer luck. Hard work applied to talent and preparation and anything is possible.

AR will start and immediately take the league by storm. Opposing defenses will have no answers and Steichen will keep them guessing. Colts win at least 10 games

I understand what you're saying. Nobody knows though. Its hard to say with last years horrific QB and Oline play. And awful coaching. AR could come out of nowhere and take the league by storm. Or play like un unpolished rookie. Won't know til we see it happen.

If Jelani Woods can get the snaps it's going to be interesting as to how good he really is. Good things always happened when he was targeted. Pro Bowl level? Maybe not but he is unique and fans vote for unique
