  1. Definitely has that effect looking back at it. Perhaps I will change it. On another note, guess this as good as any place I see to put it
  2. Starting to get a little pumped up. Things should start rolling here real soon. Super Bowl, Combine then time to go. Feb 20 - Mar 5:(next Tuesday) Is the Franchise Tag period So we will know Pittman tag situation as early as 1 1/2 - 3 weeks and other potential re-signings as well. Quickly followed up by free agency. Been a little quiet lately(to be expected), outside of the traditional throw names against the wall, see what sticks rumor mill(Brown, Diggs, Evans). Anyway, one name I have seen a few times, in different places, is J'Narius Snead. Could see that one making some sense. Would be a good get there. That big DT, Sweat, from Texas has me intrigued. Would love to find a way to get him to town. Draft still a little bit away (not too far though ), a lot still TBD on how the roster will look by that point. Saw an article that said the Colts were the #4 ranked team, as far as set up for the future. If I remember correctly it had Texans, Commanders and Titans above us. Texans I could see but I think we are above those other 2, they just have a little more cap space than us, so that must weigh on those rankings heavily. Full of anticipation for the next 2 months.
  3. Fun Super Bowl QB fact: Brock Purdy made $49,402 per game, during the season Mahomes made $53,048 per pass attempt, during the season
  4. I think my overall playoff record is 10-2 only getting 2 wild card games wrong. With 2-3 margins as well. I kinda agree, maybe a slight alteration might need to be in place moving forward. I should probably have this in hand. 8pts for SB is too many, it pretty much makes the rest of the picks not mean as much? Everyone has a 50/50 shot come the SB time. IDK what the answer is? 6pts? I also don't think bonus points should ever be more than the points for w/l, also don't think you should get bonus points if you get the w/l incorrect. Have some kind of participation elimination thorough playoffs? I actually thought that was the case here for a moment. Thought only top 3 advanced past first round. Anyway, not complaining, just throwing out some potential options to make it even better moving forward. Good luck all, I will make my pick at 5:55est on Sunday. Pretty sure most know who I will be picking. Lol.
  5. Congrats Dwight, much deserved.
  6. this guy had to a pretty good grasp on the season, back on Sept 8th
  7. I was thinking it was already on. I might tune in. There is a couple open houses on some houses I've been looking at from 1-4 today. Might need to go take an in person look today
  8. I'm not watching, but it is almost a guarantee that we will select one or more of these players. https://coltswire.usatoday.com/lists/indianapolis-colts-senior-bowl-prospects-drafted-history/ We drafted 26 Senior Bowl participants since 2017. 3.7(ish) per draft. (7) last year
  9. Couldn't do a post June 1st trade with a 2023 draft pick(last year), or for a 2024 draft pick this year. Chargers can still save around $14.4m in cap space in 2024, if they trade him prior to draft or on draft day. Probably more likely they extend him and reduce his cap hit this year.
  10. I was thinking about just saying I pick whoever you end up picking, but the runthepost throws a wrench in that plan.
  11. Not a lock yet, think by my unofficial tally I would have a 7pts lead over solid? Could be wrong?
  12. I hope he has grounds to prove retaliation from his criticism of the department before.
  13. Conf Championship Games: Chiefs @ Ravens (7-10) Lions @ 49ers (1-3) Keeping my preseason SB picks.
  14. Actually a neutral number. Nil = zero So neither positive nor negative. Lol. To the the point, I think it is a step in the right direction but their has to be better oversight and rules governing it. It's a complete mess right now. College athletes deserve to be paid. Don't think anyone is argue that, these colleges make millions and millions of these athletes. I never liked that players had to sit out a season when transferring, so that is a plus as well A coach doesn't have to sit out, why should a player?
  15. Pittman is already halfway out the door. 50/50 best he returns as we sit here today, imo. We are in a 6 week holding pattern, until it's official tag time. He isn't agreeing to a long term deal without seeing the market, unless we break the bank. So essentially he is franchise Tagged, right now, imo. So yes, if we can get Mike Evans for 2-3 years(maybe more) and a couple picks for Pittman (who potentially wants to head West). I am doing it. It's all a hypothetical. I've said numerous times, that I want Pittman back and would even give him a 5yr $100m deal. Whether that's enough, or too much, doesn't really matter. Just saying that is my preference, but I have my doubts that's what will end up happening at this moment.(him playing here in 24)
  16. Evans kinda fits the timeline well, imo. If he's here for a couple years, and we get compensation for Pittman, we can draft a WR early to replace Evans when time is up. Gives us another weapon in the room, while having extra picks as well. He might not be interested? But if I was presented the opportunity, that's probably the route I would look to go.
  17. Ok. Not sure what you're talking about, but carry on. He averages 15.9ypc for his career. Can't believe you watched that game today and came away with that conclusion. Evans almost single handedly brought them back. If presented the option, I am signing Evans to a 2-3 yr deal $20-$22 per season Tag and trading Pittman Hopefully going into the draft with (2) 1st.
  18. Evans had 2 fewer TDs this season, than Pittman does in his entire career.
  19. This is what I'm referring to. Kelce loss would definitely hurt, if is still allowed.
  20. Don't forget, they likely are going to lose the tush push play as well. Their window has closed.
  21. The Indianapolis Colts, among other NFL teams, also reportedly met with Troy cornerback Reddy Steward and Northern Illinois defensive tackle James Ester at the recent Hula Bowl in Orlando, Florida (via draftguyjimmy): Edited out tweet, was way to long. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.stampedeblue.com/platform/amp/2024/1/21/24045828/report-colts-recently-met-with-troy-cb-reddy-steward-northern-illinois-dt-james-ester-at-hula-bowl
  22. Yes, Colts can block a request for interview on a lateral moves.
  23. Chargers have big cap decisions on Allen and Williams, can't see Pittman fitting into that scenario. Maybe one gets traded/ released, but why replace him with another big price WR?
