This was easier for me in my younger days because Peyton Manning did it for me (and a lot of us). We need to push a positive perspective, not only for ourselves, but for all the young new Colts. Peyton helped a lot of us believe that a Super Bowl was possible. And through him our positivity paid off.
Now we have the opportunity to push through to the promised land again. There’s a new dynasty on the block (KC instead of NE), and someone has to take them down. Why not the Colts? Positive energy is real, and this team is as young and talented as any team in the NFL, and is more than capable of trouncing KC in an epic AFC championship on our way to a signature Super Bowl win for this franchise.
I know I’m asking a lot from my fellow Colts fans, but we’re already 2-0 against Mahomes. And for those keeping track, that makes the Colts the ONLY team that Mahomes has yet to beat… Let’s keep this positive energy going! We can be the best team in the NFL, and if we believe that, and our players feel that belief… we can be the best team ever.

Yeah I need about 50 out of Mahomes in my other league if I am gonna have a chance to get to the championship.But hey, I made it to the semis in both leagues, so it was a good year overall.

THEN… he went to the end of the bench after a turnover to console the guy that fumbled.
He didn’t need to do that. That guy probably won’t even be on the team next year, but Richardson had his back game 1.
When people talked about the “intangibles” when it came to Manning vs Leaf, these are the intangibles they meant.

I just watched Anthony score his first NFL touchdown, celebrate with his guys, and head toward the sideline.
He was almost to the bench, gassed and ready to sit down, then you could tell he turned and went up and down the sideline thanking the guys that got him in the end zone.
That wasn’t coaching or a professional obligation. That was character.

Just to double-check, @w87r is Perceived Perception right? So once Perceived Perception and Luck O' The Irish are removed from the league, that should open up 2 spots for any newcomers. I believe @lewcards was first to express interest, so maybe PM @PuntersArePeopleToo with an email so they can send an invite.

We’re approaching draft season, so if there are no objections, I’m going to turn the Commissioner role over to @PuntersArePeopleToo so they can boot me and w87r from the league and get the ball rollin for this season.

Right now it’s a pretty standard setup, but that’s stuff everyone can discuss and decide on once everyone is in.Nothing set in stone at the moment.

I'm getting an early start on this thread because I need to hand the keys over to a new commissioner for the Joe's League. @w87r and I are moving up to the Elite League. So who wants to be the new commish?
Even if it's just a temporary commish "role" on the league site so that you can remove me and @w87r from the league to open up those spots for any other forum members that are interested in joining the Joe's League. Then ya'll can vote on a commish or anything else ya'll want to, I haven't changed any of the settings from last season.
P.S. - I thought of myself as a long-term "Joe" guy, and if I hadn't drafted Jonathan Taylor last year, I'd probably still be in the Joe's league. I've enjoyed the last few years with ya'll. Thank you! I'm about to get chewed up and spit out by the Elite League, so see you guys next year probably!

Apparently I blocked that game from my mind… Andrew Lucks’ last game was a playoff loss to Mahomes… 😤😭🥺
So we’ll call it 2-1 against Mahomes. Which is still respectable all things considered, and even more motivation to throw a wrench in their dynasty and start a new era!
I think we all know what Andrew Luck would have done with Andy Reid as his HC and a safety blanket like Travis Kelce to depend on…
