Also watching Browns @ Chiefs. A Browns defender picked of the KC backup QB and scored a TD. Browns lead 6-3, pending 2-point try... They get it. Browns now lead 8-3.

Vikings are playing the Cardinals in MN. I'm watching on NFL+. They are playing backups. Vikings have a 14-0 lead, five minutes in. 3rd-string RB McBride with a TD run. 7-0 Vikes force a fumble deep in Arizona territory. Vikes would score a TB on the next play, Hall to someone I never heard of (Abram Smith??).

I would have loved it if the Vikings had drafted Pickett. We had a chance to draft him, but we traded down and drafted Christian Darrisaw who I like a lot. But Darrisaw is not a QB. (I think the fans would have been upset if we had not drafted Darrisaw. I am among the few who wants a new QB.)

No tanking this year, as you have your QB! Some people believe that those who want their teams to get the #1 pick are not real fans. I disagree. I would love to win every year, but if my team has no chance to win the Super Bowl, why not lose big one year and draft the top player in the draft??? If a team is always middling (like the Vikings), the team rarely has the opportunity to draft in the top three. During my 30+ years of being a fan, the Vikings have never selected in the top 3. The highest they have drafted is 4th when they drafted an OT who was good for only one or two years. I want the number one pick one year to select the top QB in the draft.

Well, you know Mark... Let's not say more. Lol. I like the Lions but the division may not be as easy as many believe. I have the Lions, Vikings, GB and Bears tie for 3rd/4th. However, both the Bears and Green Bay may surprise people.

Who is laughing? Most people have the Lions winning the division.

The Lions backups looked pretty good yesterday. Did Steven Gilmore, the brother of Stefon Gilmore, play in the game you watched? He played like a starter. If he gets cut, I hope the Vikings try to pick him up on waivers. The RB Reynolds was impressive too. Their backup WRs did not impress except Green who scored the 70-yard TD.

And Teddy with the 70-yard TD. Former Vikings playing well. I don't know if Teddy makes the team but he should back up Goff.

The Steelers played yesterday. Barring injury, Pickett to Pickens will produce a lot for the Steelers. Pickens might be a good FF pick-up.

Sounds like a good plan. Build through the draft until you need just a few more reinforcements to make it a championship team. If the Colts win too many games this year, there may not be the draft capital to grab Marvin Harrison Jr. Are you guys willing to lose (or tank) for Marvin?
