  1. Why Rush? He will be picked up by another team...I think.
  2. @VikingsFanInChennai Many Vikes wanted to retain Tristan Jackson. They said he had a great camp. He was waived instead of Reagor. I think we kept Reagor to trade him. I see we kept Andre Carter. I expected him to be waived.
  3. Vikings waived or released: Jordan Ta'amu, QB DeWayne McBride, RB Abram Smith, RB Aaron Dykes, RB Blake Proehl, WR Lucky Jackson, WR Jacob Copeland, WR Trishton Jackson, WR Thayer Thomas, WR Garett Maag, WR Ben Sims, TE Colin Thompson, TE Josh Sokol, OL Jack Snyder, OL Alan Ali, OL Jarrid Williams, OL Christian DiLauro, OL Ross Blacklock, DL Esezi Otomewo, DL T.J. Smith, DL Calvin Avery, DL Sheldon Day, DL Luiji Vilain, EDGE Benton Whitley, EDGE Wilson Huber, LB Abraham Beauplan, LB Troy Reeder, LB Tanner Vallejo, LB Jaylin Williams, CB James Houston, CB C.J. Coldon, CB Kalon Barnes, CB Tay Gowen, CB Joejuan Williams, CB Jake Gervase, S Traded: Vederian Lowe, OL
  4. Maybe some other team picks him up? Why not your Colts? Are you a mini-Jets fan now that Rodgers is there? He looks so much happier as a Jet than he ever did as the QB of the Packers.
  5. We should have an additional 20 plus cuts today. See what the Vikings have done so far. There is a list of everyone on the roster. Every time someone is cut, DN crosses the person's name off the list. https://www.dailynorseman.com/2023/8/27/23848317/2023-minnesota-vikings-roster-cut-tracker
  6. Vikings waive DL Ross Blacklock and release DL Sheldon Day
  7. @w87r

"It's been a dream since I was 7 years old. I'm definitely not letting that contract stuff get in the way of my team. We have to be focused on getting to the Super Bowl.”

    I love this guy!!

  8. What do the Eagles lose for signing him? Did the Eagles give him a signing bonus? I wonder why other teams did not try to sign him.
  9. He did the same with Bradford. He drafted Wentz and later traded Bradford to the Vikings for a #1 draft pick and a 4th draft pick.
  10. Do the Eagles have to pay him for the year? If not, what is the disadvantage of not keeping him?
  11. That is why I like Roseman so much. He drafts QBs even when they don't need one. The Patriots do the same. Some might say that Roseman erred when he gave up draft capital for Wentz, but I liked Wentz when he was an Eagle. Before his first injury, he could have been MVP. Injuries took a toll on him. Wentz was much better than Matt Ryan for the Colts but Colts fans disliked Wentz so much.
  12. He was drafted by the Vikings two to three years ago and cut last year. He has looked really good for the Chiefs. Chiefs seem to put anyone out there and they look great.
  13. The only person I know among those is Jules. There are many people I have not seen in a while like Brent, JayKirk, MAC, 21isSuperman, SheColt, Dustin, SouthWest1, Andy (I think that was his name...he was from Canada and was big on draft-related stuff), and so many more. More recently, some of those I have not seen are Valpo, Princeton Tiger, and many of the Patriot fans that used to post here the first 5 years of my membership here. I miss SteelCityColt, who was one of my favorite. There are some who used to post a lot. They lurk but do not post comments now. I often wonder why they do not post comments anymore.
  14. Vikings released linebackers Wilson Huber and Tanner Vallejo and OT Jarrid Williams. No surprises...yet. Some fans want to sign Huber to PS. He was a college teammate of Ivan Pace, Jr. who was an UDFA who has had a great camp. Pace will make the team. Vikings also traded a player to the Patriots: OT Vederian Lowe and receive a 6th round pick.
  15. I see Jordan Wilkins on the Browns list. Will the Colts bring him back?
  16. I like my WRs. Lol. I think we (the Vikings) have a deep WR corps. Our RB corps is not.
  17. @2006Coltsbestever I am responding to your question in the JT thread. I think a reply is to that is more appropriate here. I have no idea how they will do. Maybe 9-8 or 10-7, hopefully better or a lot worse (for a high draft pick). I hate middling.
  18. I cannot recall if Le'Veon Bell got what he wanted but he went to the Jets and flopped. He is now saying that he should have never held out. He could have been a Hall of Famer with the Steelers. He was good at rushing and catching passes but he thought he was too good for a team to pass on him. JT's agent thought the same of JT.
  19. A Big Mac is better than nothing. Serious question: Do you expect JT to play for the Colts this season?
