Why didn't the Lions decline that last penalty? Wouldn't it have been 4th down? Now the Chiefs score.

I cut cable once and did not miss it. I have cable now. I don't watch much TV. I got my company to give me the network channels and 15 cable channels of my choice. It included the NFL Network but not Red Zone or the Mets Channel (called SNY). I chose channels I may watch but I watch only a few. Without taxes and other charges, it is about $50. They had been charging $140+ to have channels I never watch.

Don't you have it on free TV (on NBC)?

Me too. In my area, NFL Network is showing "Top 100 Players of 2023".

I love it!! (Going for it on 4th down -- fake punt) But if they did not get that first down, that would have been a disaster.

This year NFL+ will give access to Red Zone and NFL Network. I have until Saturday to decide if I want to pay for it. They will bill me $99 on Aug 10th. I think I might keep NFL+. I don't have Red Zone on my cable package anymore but I can watch it on my mobile or other device.

Let's go back to Colts one-year wonders. The guy that quit in the middle of a game in Buffalo, did he have multiple great years for the Colts? He is a CB whose brother was a TE for the Niners. Can't recall his name. He may have had multiple great years.

I know him. He played around when Vick Ballard and Ahmad Bradshaw were here, no? He was not a "wonder". Of all that I have read, Ebron fits best. He was great one year and Colts fans loved him. The following year he was a pariah. Fans could not wait to get rid of him..

They are different. I love Luck but I don't know if I would take him over Mahomes. But I am a huge fan of Luck. I also loved the guy you called Noodle Arm. He was one of my favorite QBs to come out of college. I cannot wait to see him go to the Hall. He is not first ballot but will go in eventually. Luck unfortunately will not, as he did not play long enough. Had he won a SB, Luck may have but not sure.

Jared, you seem to be describing Kirk Cousins. Luck was so much better. I remember in 2016 when everyone but Superman here thought the Vikings were going to destroy the Colts. I recall someone saying that Luck may not even make it through the game because the Colts OL was so bad that year. Luck played brilliantly with the likes of Danielle Hunter and Everson Griffen chasing him. The Vikings defense was very highly rated that year. Luck destroyed them. I would have loved Luck as my QB. I wish I could have a season like this one -- one in which the goal is to build for the future. Winning is gravy. Losing allows the team to draft higher, possibly draft a top player like Marvin Harrison, Jr. Enjoy the ride. It should be fun, regardless of the record.

I cannot think of any player that has been playing longer. It seems like he has been playing for decades. What is great is that he has been on the same team all along. I love that! Why can't the Mets get a Joey Votto. We had David Wright but spinal stenosis or a similar condition forced him to retire early. I loved David Wright!!

I would love the Reds to make it. Is Joey Votto still there? (I have not followed baseball in so long that I forgot how to spell Votto.)
